02.01.2022 LYSTERFIELD CC - Wanted Juniors and Woolworths Blast FREE REGISTRATION FORALL NEW PLAYERS OF SUPER 7s (u10) and FAST 9s (u11) With the football season coming to an end it is time to start thinking about playing junior cricket.... The Lysterfield Cricket Club has had success across both the seniors, winning last season’s flag and heading back to Division 1, and the juniors, winning many flags over the past few years. What sets the club apart is ensuring that all players get a go no matter what their standard of cricket is. All players are encouraged to play in multiple age groups and have fun with their existing and new mates. We are also pleased to announce that various senior cricketers will be involved in coaching and assisting with the juniors this season. Lysterfield’s first XI and former Vic Country opening bowler, Lachlan Dobson, will be coaching the U16s this year and other senior players such as first XI opening batsman Daniel Foster-Jennings and Club Coach and former Premier Cricketer Cam Costic will also be assisting this season. We are also pleased to announce that former first XI Ringwood Premier Cricket Nathan Walsh will be running the Woolworths Blast. Over Nathan’s Premier Cricket career spanning 10+ years he knocked up over 4300 runs and had 20 odd scores of 50 or more with a top score of 131. Woolworths Blast is for 5-9 y/o and teaches them how to bat, bowl, field and catch. This is huge for the club and we continue to be a firm believer that investing in the juniors sets up the future of the seniors. Why join Lysterfield CC?
