23.01.2022 I just want to acknowledge a few of our senior players in particular Warwick Peluso , James Duke and the 6ths. In the past week the club has received 2 really positive emails about the impact Pebble, Dukey and the 6ths have made on some of our junior players. 15.01.2022 Good afternoon all, I hope you are all keeping safe in lockdown and looking forward to the cricket season. Or just getting out of the house! The year all junior registrations will be $50 (free shirt for new first time players) across the board. You will also be able to play in multiple age groups if you choose to do so! We will be running at a loss but this is about our club giving something back to you after what you have all been through.... We are hearing that a likely start date could be as early as mid-November (from Cricket Victoria) so please get your registration in so we can see our numbers in each age group and ensure we get our teams set up correctly. You will only need to pay $5 to reserve your spot and all other monies can be paid at a later date. 10.01.2022 This week marks a major milestone for one of the great icons of the beavers. Matt Whitty will take the field for game 200, becoming the 8th player to achieve this feat. He joins the elusive club of Finch, Hill, Peluso, Wells, Glenister, Morris and Carland. Burger makes a great case for the most influential beaver of all time. As the longest serving president of the club, he has steered the beavers into the successful, inclusive and unique place it is today. On the field, Matt... continues a distinguished career including premierships in each of the top three grades. He was a key member of the 1stXI during the clubs first ever Decoite Shield triumph. Over the last few years Matt has mentored the next generation of beavers, including his sons Tom and Jack. Good luck Burgs! with Nicole Whitty and MB Whitts.
