12.01.2022 LJFC 2020 Registration Priority Period Ends Soon Members, A great response so far during the Members Priority Period for Registrations for 2021 with already over 200 signing up to play for the 2021 season. The Members Priority period does however close in 3 days (Tuesday 10th Nov) and from this point any players from other clubs or new players can join to form the squads.... 08.01.2022 COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT Next up we have returning volunteers to our footy club for another season with Michelle & Steve Iordanou as the Lakesfield Canteen Managers. We have no doubt everyone knows Michelle & Steve for all the wonderful food we offer in the canteen, not only gameday but also at Family Nights! Next season when you are lining up & waiting for your chips, pie, dimmies, donuts, etc please be sure to thank Michelle & Steve for all their great work! In the meantime, dont forget to place an order with Burgerchiefs in the offseason for some of the best burgers you will eat!!

05.01.2022 COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT Welcome back to another long term committee volunteer, to our Competitive Age Group Boys Football Manager - Mick Nichols. Mick has put his hand up to help every season his family have been at Lysterfield and he is always 1 of the first people to help out no matter what is required. You will catch Mick around on gamedays or training most nights once the season starts, so please be sure to say gday & thanks for everything he does for our wonderful football club! Mick has a strong football knowledge, even if he does barrack for St. Kilda!! We are still searching for someone to look after the Non Comp age groups, so if you have some time up your sleeve and would be free to offer guidance to younger age groups please speak to a Committee member.



04.01.2022 COMMITTEE ANNOUNCEMENT When anyone mentions SBL Wolves Girls footy, there is always 1 name that comes up and we are very proud to announce that Simon Mehegan is once again the Girls Football Manager for 2021. Simon does an enormous amount of work behind the scenes & is at training and as many games as he can be at, and he is the reason we will be fielding 2 x U18, 3 x U16, 2 x U14, 2 x U12 & possibly 2 x U10 Girls teams next season - WOW!!!!! Welcome back Simon - GO WOLVES!!!
