24.01.2022 News and Tips If you are intending to sell your home which is mortgaged, we suggest you first obtain a quote from your lender regarding your expected payout figure. If you have a fixed loan, penalties for early discharge will apply. This extra cost, can make a difference to your future plans and needs to be factored into the equation.

19.01.2022 News and Tips Ever heard the term subject to sale but not sure exactly what it means? Subject to sale contracts allow for the buyer to sell their existing home by a certain date noted in the contract. Both the vendor and purchaser have agreed on the date by which the purchaser is to enter into a contract to sell their home. We always recommend both the purchasers sale contract (sale of their existing home) and their purchase contract (purchase of the new home) are made subject to the settlement of the other contract. 17.01.2022 NEWS & TIPS STEWART TITLE INSURANCE So, what is title insurance, you ask? Title insurance is a policy available to home buyers to protect certain aspects of your new purchase, which are NOT covered under a normal home and contents policy. Things like boundary defects and unapproved development work. We believe this type of policy is a worthwhile consideration when buying a property. Also, the premium payable is a once off premium at settlement. Please contact this office is you require further information.

05.01.2022 To all our valued clients and colleagues, please be advised M Kley conveyancing will be fully operational during the 6 day lockdown period by way of either email or phone. Client settlements will not be effected and will proceed as normal. However, any clients who were due to move into homes during this period, will be unable to do so. Our understanding is that keys will not be able to be collected until after this period and moving companies will also not be operational.
