24.01.2022 M & W Plastering were pleased to be asked to be part of the new review of a few new formulas Saint-Gerbain are trialling with Proroc. The results were very pleasing a pot life doubled which makes working and finishing the product easier. The K formula was outstanding, troweling easier, filling better and only requiring 2 trowels which was time saving, allowing us to apply more metres, which= better profits #multifinish #metrohardware #dalealcockhomes

15.01.2022 Its been awhile that we have travelled so far.....

15.01.2022 Friends of ours bought a place in Inglewood and wanted to turn the workshop at the rear of the property into a Studio. With these friends being high ranking officers of the state, the guarantee needed to be a lifetime one. The issue with this was that the walls were single brick built by the previous owner himself some 60 years ago we estimate. Lots of moisture coming through from the external of course. We started with applying Crommelins Trowel on Waterproofing over every w...all. We waited a few months to make sure water wasnt penetrating the surfaces. Today we rolled on a coat of Plastinex adhesive. Followed by Saint-Gerbain Proroc Basecoat. The surface was quite uneven so this product with its ability to build up to 50mm was ideal. We used screeds and the speedskims to flatten the walls. After only 3-4 hours we were able to apply Proroc Multifinish to the walls and after only 3 hours the job was complete, with happy friends. 50m2 completed #multifinishaustralia #proroc See more

14.01.2022 Another Proroc accreditation earned today. Drew Doran of DRD Contracting. Drew had spent a day here and there with other Plasterers and was truly surprised that the methods they were using compared to ours were totally different and made using Proroc almost impossible. In just one day, using the correct method taught by M&W at one of the accredited training course days, Drew was amazed how easy the product can be to use and how a true, flat, smooth and hard finish can be achieved with a minimum of effort. 14.01.2022 We were Excited to get the opportunity to do the first job for Matt and Cara of Ford Building Co in Padbury this week. Having known Matt for a few decades in the Building Industry, it was great he trusted M&W with this build and it was a no brainer which product we would recommend. 10.01.2022 Just a quick tip for using Proroc Multifinish..... Hydration is the key, with Lime and Hardwall ideally the material shouldnt dry out before its starts to cure, however Proroc is the opposite. Gauges should be finished before the curing process begins. A Gauge can be finished under an hour. No accelerators required. This is one of the many things, you will learn if you were to attend a training and accreditation day with one of the North or South trainers.. Just like the boys from Garrys Plastering have done. 08.01.2022 This week we had 2 guys in for the Proroc peer training and accreditation days. One was a younger guy, with over 10 years experience, Hamza Serin and another more experienced Plasterer with over 30 years experience in the trade, Adam Toey, pictured. Both werent afraid of expanding their skill set. Both were impressed with the product. Both had attempted to use Proroc without the training and struggled, however spending time with us proved beneficial. Learning why Proroc reacts the way it does and how to work the material, using our experience combined with their skill set made it a few enjoyable days. #multifinishaustralia #proroc Hamza serin
