We use it when we gradually increase the weight, frequency, or number of repetitions in our training routine which can be about strenght or endurance. ... . This method challenges your body and allows your musculoskeletal system to get stronger and fitter. Infact, doing the same workouts over and over or using the same amount of weight every time we train can lead to your body plateauing. . Plateau can be seen as a positive sign because it shows us improvements during our fitness journey but, it also means that it’s time to mix things up and offer your body new challenges if we really want to improve somehow. . Progressive overload training should be done only after you’ve mastered an exercise with proper form. And, you should also been doing the same routine but different volume for at least 2 weeks ideally a month before you start to train harder/ in a different way . . Always hive your body time off to rest between workouts and stop scale back the intensity if you feel very sore or injured! See more
