16.01.2022 This is one of my favourite images and I think it’s because of the days in my earlier life designing buildings and studying architecture I fell in love with angles, light and shadow. The golden play of light through the rail structures casts another layer of pattern to this image. The angles, the light, the shadows and composition all work together to create a balanced and almost abstract architectural image. It is that calm point in the start of the day before anyone else gets to the pool.
