Kareena Lee traded the ocean for a pool placing 2nd in the 1500m, 3rd in the 400m and eighth in the 200m free whilst Matt Wilson took out the 50m and placed 2nd in the 100m & 200m breaststroke. Simon has been recognised for his gold medal winning performance at the 2018 Winter Paralympics where he broke Australia’s medal drought. If that’s not enough, Simon previously took home bronze at the 2012 Summer Paralympics before making the switch to winter sports. Simon is a very deserving young man.
