25.01.2022 We have put together some ways that you are able to get help to stay afloat during the Covid -19 Outbreak. There is a lot of misinformation out there and we have obtained our information directly from Treasury and/or the ATO Websites. While this information is correct at the time we have done this post, the way things are moving it is likely to change at anytime. Please note all of the below measures released in the last 2 stimulus packages have not yet been passed as law by... parliament. Individuals Income support for individuals & Households Over the next six months, the Government is temporarily expanding eligibility to income support payments and establishing a new, time-limited Coronavirus supplement to be paid at a rate of $550 per fortnight. This will be paid to both existing and new recipients of Jobseeker Payment, Youth Allowance Jobseeker, Parenting Payment, Farm Household Allowance and Special Benefit. We have attached a fact sheet with more specific information The Government is providing two separate $750 payments to social security, veteran and other income support recipients and eligible concession card holders. The first payment will be made from 31 March 2020 and the second payment will be made from 13 July 2020. We have attached a fact sheet with more specific information Temporary early release of superannuation The Government is allowing individuals affected by the Coronavirus to access up to $10,000 of their superannuation in 2019-20 and a further $10,000 in 2020-21. Individuals will not need to pay tax on amounts released and the money they withdraw will not affect Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs payments. Please read the attached fact sheet for more information

16.01.2022 Our Phones and Internet are down from the rain. We will try and get back to anyone that has contacted as soon as possible. Keep safe everyone.

13.01.2022 MAAD Accounting have made the difficult decision to cancel all face to face appointments from now until the end of April. All of our team members have regular contact with family who would be at high risk should they contract the COVID 19, and out of respect to them we will be practicing social distancing and not meeting face to face. We will still be working and happy to conduct Skype/ Facebook Messenger or phone appointments. We understand that this may inconvenience some of our clients and we apologise for this unavoidable situation.
