14.01.2022 Maiem Families and friends. I am grateful to know that there are interests out there regarding Meriam Mir. I’m sure that we, ‘Meriam Buai’ are aware that our language is tremendously slipping away from its speakers. However, there are ways and options to consider should we identify ourselves as true ‘Meriam Buai’. I am pleased to announce that with the establishment of BuAkoko Meriam Mir Advocacy I felt the need of my Language to live in me. I believe we as netat Meriam Buai have the responsibility to perform our duty with blessings in retaining what was taken from our forefathers, our survival heritage. Let’s assist ourselves in whichever ways to resurrect our mother tongue. Au Esuao wabim

09.01.2022 Maiem families wherever you reside, just thought I’d notify yupla that we now have a new coordinator at our language centre on TI and I’m hoping to hold Meriam Mir classes at the centre soon as the coordinator gives the green...all are welcome from Mer to Boigu to attend.
