23.01.2022 Just a another ransomware malicious software computer virus warning. It is called "Wanna cry". You may have to click on a link but could come in other forms. It may come in on an email attachment. Always hover your mouse over the sender to check who its from. Please be careful and check before you click on any links. Please back up your files, photos often and keep them on a separate hard drive and have an up to date anti virus loaded. The most vulnerable machines are those which dont have current Microsoft support, such as Windows XP machines and servers running Windows operating system 2003 and earlier. If you are still running machines with XP, we strongly recommend replacing them with new machines running Windows 7 operating system. Servers with old operating systems should also be replaced as soon as possible.
22.01.2022 "Telstra" bill email ransomware scam. Please dont open an email with a zip file attached - Telstra address- [email protected]. - it is a very authentic looking email but is a nasty virus.

20.01.2022 There is a Fake Apple ID email scam going around again asking you to reset your password. DONT DO IT!! Best to never click on anything on the email and log into your iTunes or Apple account separately from the email, to check that everything is ok!
20.01.2022 FAKE AGL EMAIL - please be careful and dont follow any links or make any payments. If you have an account with AGL, always log into your account and check it that way - dont follow links on emails. Have a good day :)

18.01.2022 Really not sure what this is, but Im not clicking the link. I received a phone call the other day (which I didnt answer as it was from number 7 995 80 (obviously that was a red flag ) . Just got a text today, so Im thinking scam!

13.01.2022 COMPUTER VIRUS WARNING Please be aware that there is a very nasty computer virus Petya - which is a ransomware and has hit around the world, crippling many computers. Please always be very careful clicking on emails and also appears to be attaching to certain websites. Best advice is to make sure you have the most up to date virus checker installed and have done an update. Also, please make sure you have backed up all of your computer to an external hard drive.

10.01.2022 Latest virus warnings re Office 365 Look out for a very authentic looking email purporting to come from Microsoft. It states you must log into the office portal to re-activate your 365 account. The portal link takes you to a malicious site for your Microsoft credentials are stolen. Please be careful.
09.01.2022 Reminder that Windows 7 will no longer be supported after 14th January. This means no more updates, patches and unless you have up to date security, your computer and data will be at risk.
