25.01.2022 We're only one week into Toys 'n' Tucker and the response has been huge! Thank you so much for the support, it's absolutely wonderful. Donations will be received right through November. #sharethejoy P.S. Please remember that toys need to be new.

24.01.2022 We love to encourage our readers but borrowing books is not the only thing that happens in the Junior School IRC. Using a magnifying device that attaches to an iPad, Year 2 students today had a research lesson looking at natural materials, specifically wool before and after it's processed.

23.01.2022 VALE Mrs Anita Lesmana There is a profound sense of grief across the School community as we mourn the death of our much loved colleague, Mrs Anita Lesmana who died on Saturday morning in her sleep. Anita served as the Personal Assistant to three Deputy Headmasters: Mr David Raphael; Dr David Nockles (before he was appointed Headmaster); and Mr Andrew Kokic, the present Deputy. That is a total of just over 20 years service in this capacity. Anita’s smiling face and sincere w...armth will be well known to many parents and students as she has been a constant in the Administration Centre and Reception Desk for so many years. Her delightful, quiet, ever helpful and Godly character will be sorely missed. Our condolences go to Anita’s husband Tjandradjaja, her sons Matthew and Gideon, her daughter Ruth, as well as the very large wider family she leaves behind.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to our Stage 3 debating team who have made the national grand final for AIS Virtual Debating.

21.01.2022 Our Junior School students are in for a nice surprise when they return next year... #IRC

19.01.2022 Today is national Administrative Professionals' Day and we're taking the opportunity to thank our wonderful administrative staff at School. They're the voice at the other end of the phone when you call, the ones who sign our students in and out, collect lost property, help prepare resources for lessons and assignments, take you on tours of our school, support our Executive staff and give their time and energy for important events like today's Year 7 Day at Macarthur. Without them the School would not operate nearly as well as it does. #thankyou

18.01.2022 Do you still read a 'real' newspaper? If you do, we need your help! Our Visual Arts and Design & Technology classes use a lot of newspapers in the course of the year however, in this digital age, we are struggling to keep up. Donations will be gratefully accepted, please drop off at the main Admin building.

09.01.2022 Just some small snippets from the Gold DoE team 'doing tough tings.' Day 1 included a great hike up to Mt Kosciusko and a sprint down to Wilkinson’s Creek where we met +100km/hour winds and over 30mm of rain, being stuck in tents from 3pm until 6am the next morning. Day 2 was just as pleasant with +120km/hour winds, sleet falling from all angles and -2C temperatures. It’s been a hectic 2 days for the gold team but an unforgettable one! Follow the whole adventure on the School's Instagram!

08.01.2022 We were delighted this morning to welcome Simon Taufel, five time International Cricket Council Umpire of the Year, to speak with Years 10 and 11. There were so many takeaways from his talk including changing our attitude toward the mistakes we make (hint: we learn from our mistakes), saying no to distractions, making the most of opportunities and the importance of gratitude, humility and positivity. It was a highly relatable talk for our Senior students, leaving them with some great points to ponder. #integrity #values #leadership

07.01.2022 Our Year 12 Class of 2020 received their HSC & ATAR results this morning and there is much to celebrate. Jayden Taylor (ATAR 98.80), along with Aislinn D’Arcy (ATAR 98.50) have been recognised as ‘All Rounders’ for attaining Band 6/E4 results in at least 10 units. Over one quarter of the students earned an ATAR over 90.00. Congratulations to the Macarthur Anglican Class of 2020!

05.01.2022 That was fun! The first of three W@M Christmas Workshops by live stream went so well that we're very excited for the next two coming up. Check your emails today if you're interested in the Christmas Wreath or Gingerbread House workshops but, in the meantime, here's a glimpse of the Advent Calendar we made last night. #itsbeginningtolookalotlikechristmas

03.01.2022 Parents, how are you going with the Mathematics assignment we sent you on Monday? Did you have to ask your child for help? We'd like to get your assignments back, they're due in by tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a snippet of the fun our students are having with the Maths challenges. #mathsweek #mathsisawesome

29.12.2021 The end of year can be organised chaos so it seems appropriate to share with you what Year 9 Science have been getting up to! They worked collaboratively and co-operatively to create a complex RubeGoldberg machine as a practical demonstration of Energy Transformations. Enjoy the explanation from the students of what each segment should do, the result will be in the comments. I'm not sure about you but school was never this much fun back in my day! #sciencerules

16.12.2021 Skip for Bibles is a popular Junior School initiative and our energetic young stars of Year 4 did a wonderful job in raising $1800 recently. We held a small presentation today to recognise their enthusiasm and achievement.

07.12.2021 Thank you for your amazing response to this year's Toys'n'Tucker Appeal, the number of donations was fantastic! A group of our Year 10 students worked hard today to pack the hampers ready for Anglicare to distribute to families in need. #christmas2021

03.12.2021 Maths Matters! Mrs Campisi has a flair for making Mathematics fun and engaging, and today Year 9 had a great time with the puzzles challenge she set them. #mathschallenge

30.11.2021 Year 10 Visual Arts minor created a 'Public Art Exhibition', which this morning was installed in the garden and corridors of the Warren Hub. Each of their creations was designed for their chosen location and to 'bring joy and spark thought' for the audience. They did a terrific job of meeting the brief!

21.11.2021 We are blessed with an array of beautiful trees at our School and today we received another, very special one. Brachychiton Ormeau is an endangered tree with less than two hundred in the wild. Ours is a grafted version and will grow up to 25 metres tall. We've planted it near the Warren Integrated Studies Hub so our Science students can keep an eye on this rare gem. Thank you Mr Pickles. #treesarecool #biology #environment
