11.01.2022 Saturday 14/11/20 is Diwali - Festival of Lights What is Diwali? Diwali or Deepavali comes from the Sanskrit word meaning rows of lighted lamps. Diwali celebration lasts five days: candles, firecrackers and clay lamps known as diyas are lit to signify the triumph over darkness and good over evil. If you want to greet someone who is celebrating you can say Happy Diwali. People will decorate with Rangolis for Diwali, made from colored powder, rice or flowers on the floor... of their homes. Food is a major part of the holiday with tradition sweet and savoury items eaten! Happy Diwali!
10.01.2022 Winter is coming! As the colder months are upon us, we have put together some helpful tips to help assist our families in staying healthy over the Winter period: 1. Keep up with the hygiene - wash hands, disinfect surfaces and keep unclean fingers away from your face. 2. Eat well, stay active and get a good night's rest - All of these helps boost your immune system. Having a health immune system will help in fighting off any winter illnesses. 3. Keep your distance - symptoms of the flu are very easily spreadable, so it is incredibly important to keep your distance from those who carry flu like symptoms.

If the music stopped and you were holding the bouquet, you would be out of the game - Shae won this game! We celebrated with some creaming soda and a delicious grazing platter. We wish Carla all the best for this weekend!

Don’t forget to submit your photos to us via Messenger or email us on [email protected] for your chance to win Movie Tickets for our Psychology Challenge. The winner will be announced Monday 23rd November ... - Some self-care things I do include getting outside and exploring, whether it's a casual walk around Mt Annan with a coffee or hiking in the mountains finding waterfalls - I also love getting outdoors as much as possible and exploring our beautiful country! Most of these have been taken on my walks, which I always like doing when I feel a bit stressed! - I love sitting in the garden and watching how alive it is! - I don’t have a photo to share but I like to do a face mask and hair mask while I watch a movie that makes me feel happy and eat something yummy - Self care for me is all about unwinding with delicious food. I find taking the time to appreciate new experiences with good food and company very calming. - For me, self-care is all about resetting my space. This could mean finding an amazing view, encountering some furry friends or going out for some yummy food.
