24.01.2022 Reminder to all members and friends of MEI that our AGM is this Saturday 1 August 2020 2.30pm at the Camden Sports Club, 22 Cawdor Rd Camden. 21.01.2022 Great news!! Grounds were checked today and the competition is good to go on Sunday! Don’t forget we are setting up obstacles Saturday from 3pm so please come and lend a hand - walk the course too!... On Sunday we will be following COVID safety rules You will need to bring all your own food and drinks as there are very limited facilities available. 21.01.2022 Hi members! Wow it’s been a while, how are you all?? Hope everyone is well and trying to stay riding fit. If all goes to plan Macarthur Equitation Inc will be up and running some training days soon! Our AGM will be held very soon, please consider becoming more involved in helping our club grow, new ideas always welcome. Will be advertising this very soon. ... The grounds at Sugarloaf Equestrian Centre are under huge renovations both indoor and outdoor arenas as well as upgrading the car and float parking as well as the access road. Because of this extensive work we cannot hold our July training day but August 16 training day will go ahead. Stay tuned for further details. At the moment the calendar for events for this year is as follows 16 August - training day 27 September - protocol day 8 November - Competition 29 November - Christmas fun and training Further information on location and classes will be available soon. 18.01.2022 Our 16 August training day is now open to book on Nominate. This will be great opportunity to get out and have a go on the obstacles with some help from our senior members. Lots of fun and no pressure! Great introduction to the sport of Working Equitation! (On Nominate it will ask for you horses number- if you you don’t have one just put 0000 to keep computer gremlin happy)... Looking forward to seeing you at Sugarloaf Equestrian Centre at Cobbitty.

17.01.2022 As per Equestrian Australia recommendations all our training days and competitions will be postponed until further notice. Hopefully we all stay healthy and use this time to play with our horses and relax. Cheers Beverley Varoutsos President MEI

14.01.2022 Don"t forget entries to our first competition of the year 15 March at Sugarloaf Equestrian Center close tomorrow!!! The dressage test will be #2 for levels that have more than one test. Maps will be sent out very soon and the draw will be out early next week.... Looking forward to seeing lots of you there. 11.01.2022 Hi members, I hope everyone is well and coping with these strange times! The committee from Macarthur Equitation Inc held a phone meeting tonight to formalise some plans for moving forward. It was decided to hold no more events for our club year which ends 30 June 2020. We will start to hold some training and protocol days from July and hopefully hold a competition before the end of the year. This is dependent on advice from ANWE, EA and Dept of Health. This means that we ...will all need to renew membership before our next event and will be holding an AGM shortly after. We will give you updates as soon as we can. Stay well and enjoy your horses!

09.01.2022 Dont forget our first competition March 15 is open to enter on Nominate!! This competition will be held at Sugarloaf Equestrian Centre, Cobbity, so we will be nice and dry. No complaints about the rain though!

05.01.2022 TRAINING DAY CANCELLED Unfortunately due the extreme heat expected on Sunday 26 November the Macarthur Equitation Committee has decided that it will be too hot ...to ride. Sadly this was to be the last ride and get together for 2020. Nominate will refund your entry soon, less fees. On behalf of the MEI Committee we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday season. Looking forward to seeing you at our training day February 2021.

05.01.2022 Our first event for 2020 was a lovely relaxed day. We had 9 happy riders and lots of smiles. Everyone found a better understanding of Working Equitation as well as ways to improve their connection with their horse. Looking forward to our next training day 27 September!
