15.01.2022 Cooking skill development and observation is an excellent therapy tool used by OT’s. It’s a leisure pursuit that can improve confidence and self-esteem and is a great way for OT’s to gain a greater understanding of their clients. 15.01.2022 A change in school routine can be extremely difficult for both parents and children with disability during this crazy time. These children also require special support and guidance to work most efficiently, a thing made increasingly difficult when out of routine and at home. Luckily, we have OT’s available who can provide 1on1 support to children with their home based school work, helping kids to learn and providing parents with some well deserved relief. Our OT’s can also pr...ovide strategies on ways to help regulate complex emotions and behaviours which are often a major barrier to learning and understanding a given task.
