25.01.2022 MDFRA/CRA Exchange On the 15th June, MDFRA & CRA held the first edition of an exchange program between the 2 associations, which saw 2 referees from each branch Officiate on PL in the other branch. The 2 referees selected to represent MDFRA were Hadi Al-Nakeeb & Doug Brennan. By all accounts both referees officiated at their usual high standard, and represented the MDFRA extremely well.... The MDFRA thank the CRA for their efforts in working together to make this exchange possible, and we look forward to strengthening this relationship for the future with further opportunities on the horizon.

18.01.2022 VALE DENNIS LAMBROS It is with great sadness that we advise you of the passing of MDFRA Life Member Dennis Lambros. Dennis was a valued member of the MDFRA for many years. During his time as an active member, Dennis made a significant and enthusiastic contribution to referee education and development. He served as Vice President from 1998-2004, and was instrumental in drafting new By Laws for the Association. Denniss outstanding service to the MDFRA over many years resulted in him being elected as a Life Member in 2004.

12.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS! Please join us in congratulating MDFRA member Bradley Wright on his appointment to the Hyundai A-League Assistant Referees Panel for Season 2019/20. We are extremely proud to have taken part in Bradleys early development, and we wish him well for the upcoming season.

12.01.2022 Congratulations to Vishwa Rama who was elected to Life Member of the Association at our AGM last night. Vishwa joined us in 1998 and has been a valued and dedicated member. He was our Youth League Appointments Officer from 2008 to 2015 and in that role, was instrumental to the development of many of our current elite match officials.

06.01.2022 Our 2019 AGM saw Stephen Whicker elected a Life Member of the Association. Stephen is an integral part of our branch, particularly in recent times, serving as our Appointments Officer. Stephen has previously held roles on our Management Committee and chaired the Technical Sub-Committee as Vice President. The Association thanks Stephen for his ongoing service.
