18.01.2022 Things are looking good for a July restart. Restrictions on bus passenger numbers are easing enough for me to run trips again. As previously advised, the Berowra Waters Christmas in July wont be going ahead because the restaurant will not be re-opening until later. The scheduled Christmas in July on the Georges River will be proceeding and I am waiting for confirmation from the Nepean Belle for me to run two Psychic Cruises in July and one in August. I will also try and run some trips to the Hydro Majestic for High Tea in August. I will post details here as soon as they are confirmed and they will of course also be on the website: www.macarthurtouring.com.au

16.01.2022 One of the things I want to do before I recommence touring is to complete the Companys re-branding. I have changed the website and changed the logo on this Facebook page, but I havent changed the name of the group. Im just a little concerned that some people might not realise the name has changed and wonder why they are getting posts from Macarthur Touring. So Im going to put a timeframe on it and let you all know that on June 1, I will be submitting the name change request to Facebook. 16.01.2022 This was such a great trip. Lynda has been a regular passenger since I started. When I asked for suggestions for destinations she suggested Jenolan Caves. She was so excited when we arrived. Here she is with me in one of the caves. A few people have asked if I can do another trip to the caves once COVID is passed. I think I might do just that.

16.01.2022 Well I hope you are all surviving isolation and looking forward to getting out again. I know a few of you are essential workers and I wish to express my gratitude for holding it all together at this time. The relaxation of restrictions from last Friday is certainly a step forward but not enough to allow me to recommence business yet. However, it doesnt stop me from programming trips for a few months away. So soon Ill start advertising some trips for later in the year and seeking expressions of interest from people who would like to participate assuming all restrictions have been lifted. Not having been able to run trips for a few months means I have to hit the ground running when things start to open up again.

15.01.2022 Another great day out for Macarthur Touring. Everyone was temperature checked and asked to sanitise their hands before getting on the coach. Seating was one person to two seats unless part of a family unit. We always take the health and safety of our passengers VERY seriously.

12.01.2022 The deed has been done. As you can probably see I have changed the Facebook page name. Please rest assured that there are no changes to what we do - over 50s day tours for individuals couples and small groups. Im really looking forward to re-commencing business as soon as we are able. Many of our destinations have re-opened with limits on attendees but as a bus operator I am still limited on how many people I can transport so Ill be holding back for a little while longer.

11.01.2022 Sadly, due to restrictions on group booking numbers in many of the venues that we visit, I have taken the decision to put all future trips on hold. Im hoping we will be up and running again before too long, but the uncertainty of things at the moment make it impractical to operate. Thank you to my frequent flyers for your continuing support and thank you also to the new members of the Macarthur Touring family who only recently joined our family.

10.01.2022 UPDATE - Due to new restrictions on group numbers to be implemented in NSW from next Friday, we are cancelling our Sunday Afternoon Tea Psychic Cruise on the Nepean Belle. At this point in time, our Christmas in July on the Georges River cruises next Tuesday and Wednesday will be proceeding.

09.01.2022 The restaurant that we were going to at Berowra Waters for Christmas in July contacted me today to advise that they will not be re-opening until at least August. Consequently, Christmas in July at Berowra Waters has been cancelled.

03.01.2022 It looks like there may be some easing of restrictions on passenger numbers after the July school holidays. Schools go back on the 20th, so all going well we can run a Nepean Belle Psychic Cruise on 26th. Ill work out which pick-up area to do and set up bookings, no payments will be required until the trip is confirmed.
