24.01.2022 MacArthur's very own music festival!

24.01.2022 This Sunday 15th, 3pm at Macarthur Cemetery, Father Paddy will be leading an All Souls Deceased service. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no afternoon tea to follow. Bring your own chair, hat & mask and be mindful of social distancing. This is a really special service. Blessings are offered over loved ones.

20.01.2022 I can't speak for you but from my veranda i reckon moyne shire council have at last put in place a real positive. The grounds maintenance is being addressed with a local worker who is able to oversee our town needs. Well done. Our place/local worker/local eyes/local pride.

Ambulance Victoria are looking for the potential to start up a volunteer First Responders Service in Macarthur. Come along and meet Peter Jenkins from Ambulance Victoria and hear about this important early intervention program available to small communities in rural and remote Victoria. 'Helping Hands' and Western District Health Service have filled my freezer with meals (chicken vege casserole, chicken casserole, roast lamb/gravy, beef lasagne & vege, chicken pasta). 01.01.2022 Saving Lives in Macarthur Never has #Macarthur and surrounding communities been better protected from the risk of death from cardiac arrest thanks to a recent partnership between Leadership Great South Coast’s 2020 Community Project in Macarthur and Ambulance Victoria (AV). In Macarthur, we are delighted to report that through the Project to-date, we have:... -identified nine Automated External Defibrillators (AED)s; only two of the nine were registered with Ambulance Victoria and therefore accessible on a 000 call -encouraged and supported three first-time Ambulance Victoria AED Registrations -3 AEDS are now accessible 24/7 at the Macarthur Police Station, Men’s Shed and the Macarthur Football Club (soon to be installed). This means in the event of a cardiac arrest, Triple Zero will be able to alert a local co-responder to access one of three AED’s in Macarthur any time of the night or day, said LGSC participant Michelle Badenhorst. We would like to thank Leadership Great South Coast and Ambulance Victoria for their support; Leadership Great South Coast has provided funding for an external cabinet and Ambulance Victoria has provided technical support and donated a new AED and an external cabinet. #Macarthur #GSC #AV #savinglives--
