22.01.2022 Charles Bean landed with the Australian troops on Gallipoli on April 25, 1915. He stayed with them at the front through the entire war, refusing evacuation when he was wounded. At Pozieres the following year he was witness to 23,000 Australian casualties in just six weeks. A dying Australian asked him, Will they remember me in Australia?". We are calling on all Australians to remember them by observing one minute's silence at 11 am on the 11th of November for Remembrance Day. By observing one minute's silence we pay tribute to the men and women who have served and are still serving in our defence forces and remember those who have died or suffered in conflicts, wars and peacekeeping operations. This Remembrance Day, share who you are remembering on social media using the hashtag #WeRememberThem

21.01.2022 Exciting news everyone, I had a surprise visit from Mary-Anne Thomas yesterday and she informed me that we were successful in our grant application for the Library Learning Hub. We have been awarded $369 000 dollars to redevelop the old multiple purpose room into a modern library and learning space for our students. I would like to thank the school council for their support with the grant writing process. A special thanks must go to Justin Sawyers who led the grant writing process and Guymer-Bailey architects for their support with the design.

07.01.2022 This week is NAIDOC week. NOIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is celebrated by all Australians and is a great opportunity to learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
