02.01.2022 @lexie.elliott Building strong & resilient females. Lex started training with me and her goals were to get more strength to make her a better athlete. ... What I’ve prioritised: Teaching her to work through the frustration of not having perfect movement mechanics. Building a solid push / pull / hinge / squat / lunge & carry. Not thrashing her with high intensity training as she trains sport specific conditioning in throughout her week including games on the weekend. Strengthening her range of motion whist crating robust tendons & stable joints. She started barley touching toes! She now has palms to floor cold. As @adamothephysio would say, the breaks are well and truly turned off. Making sure she’s recovering from the stress of life / training. This video is showcasing how far she’s come starting with next to no power in her push up and now pumping a solid 5 at perfect depth / control. This movement could be used for an instructional video. Details matter. If you’re over being smashed in the gym with no direction, come hang!
