25.01.2022 Another beauty! This is actually my favourite! I fell in love with Animusic about a decade ago, it is literally music animated, not in the usual sense that music is recorded then a visual video made & synced up to the music, as in an imaginary band miming to the soundtrack, NO, this is different & very interesting. I use MIDI music backing tracks to play along with when I perform as a one man show, usually bass, drums & some keyboards while I do the singing & guitar parts li...ve. MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, it is a 16 channel lead plugged into or linking a myriad of other musical devices together, things like synths, keyboards, sound modules & light shows can synced up with the MIDI music playing from a synth or computer, in this case, Animusic was a first where MIDI was used to drive the actual video representation of not only the weird & wonderful instruments they invent but the actual notes & range of notes dreamed up by the graphic designer of any instrument they could imagine. So you're seeing the real notes being triggered on the instruments, each symbolic key or string has an actual musical MIDI note dedicated to it so it's almost like SEEING the music! 24.01.2022 Sorry I have to cancel tonight’s Facebook live show, all my Hard Rockin' ISO gigs have burnt out my NBN Internet box and it can’t be fixed until next week :( so it looks like we have to spend another quiet night at home playing with Snapchat filters LOL.
