25.01.2022 October PA Meeting is Tuesday 13th at 6pm in the Powerhouse foyer. Everyone is welcome to attend, we just ask that you sign in.

25.01.2022 Let’s Celebrate our Mums! The Mother’s Day stall will look a little different this year due to the way the world is at the moment. After consultation with Dr Gallogray, with social distancing and minimal interaction from the PA in mind, we have devised a plan to suit all students of MCC.... Providence Campus Stalls will be held in each village on Thursday 7th May. Students will be able to select gifts at the stall and pay cash (handled correctly), then take gifts home as usual. Learning at Home Students You have an option to purchase gifts online. If you would like your child to be able to select a gift from the comfort and safety of home, please email the PA and we can tell you/them how to make purchases this way. These will then be packed for collection from school on Friday 8th May. More details to follow on pickup times and location. Email is [email protected] Please finalise online purchases by Tuesday 5th May. Kings Park Campus No stall will be held at Kings Park this year, however students have the option to purchase in the same way as Learning at Home- please email PA for more info. We hope this year’s celebration of our mums can be as amazing as past years, at a time when our super stressed mums need appreciation more than ever. Hint, hint Dad...

24.01.2022 What a day!! The Fathers Day stall was a complete sell out! Everyone should be so proud of all the lovely mannered students we saw today. There’s going to be some happy, happy dads this weekend.... Thank you for supporting the PA once again. We can’t wait to use the profits for great purposes within the school.

11.01.2022 Our Parent Association participate in and initiates many activities and initiatives in our school community. One of these is the Containers for Change Bottle collection on the junior campus. The bottle is deposited in bins provided and are collected regularly and taken to the exchange facility, with the money raised we invest this back into each junior school village. The green village used their money to purchase 3 sets of the game KUBB, this is an outdoor game the children ...often play in class sport. Blue village purchased board games and activities, for rainy days and quiet time activities. Orange village purchased new sandpit toys for the children to use during lunchtime and class platy times. The Parent Association has also recently purchased a microwave for the senior students on the senior campus to use at meal breaks.

07.01.2022 On behalf of the whole school community, the PA would like to show our heartfelt appreciation for every member of the school staff. This week has been stressful and trying for every single one of us, and the MCC staff have risen to the occasion, we are so proud of you. Feel free to leave your own message in comments.

06.01.2022 Big thank you Woolworths Andergrove for supplying fruit. Well done to all the students, parents and caregivers for their attendance of ‘Ride to School’ this morning. We had 28 students register at Junior Campus. Thanks to the team from Corey Cycles for coordinating and making it a safe, fun way to get to school.

05.01.2022 Your Parent Association has a project in the making and we’d love your input! We’re planning a Recipe Book We’d love for you to submit a recipe- whether it’s a family dinner favourite, grandma’s cookie recipe, something the kids like to make, or a recipe from your home country you’d like to share. It can be anything.... Maybe even include a picture of your family preparing the meal- or a drawing from the kids. We are not sure of the format yet, but would like to include these if possible. Please email to [email protected] By submitting recipes, pictures and images, you are giving the right to have these published in the book.

05.01.2022 We are happy to support a local business and part of the school community- just as they support us by donating back 50c from each large coffee purchase. Mad Cow Coffee van will be visiting both MCC campus each Thursday for teachers and staff. Junior Campus 10.30 am Senior Campus 12.45pm
