When the storms rage all around us, we have to learn to look inside for His peace. Jesus said, In this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the... world. (John 16:33 ) But in the same sentence He said, I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. Tell your children when they face trouble at school, with their friends, or whenever the storms of life attack them, to look for His peace inside of them. Join us by praying over your children this week Place their names in the blanks. Father, show me daily how I can teach _______________ to be sensitive to Your voice. Remind me when I forget. Give my child a desire to hear Your voice and obey You. May we all, as a family, become more sensitive to Your signals of the red, yellow, and green... lights and recognize it is You speaking. Words can not explain how valuable Children's Ministry is I feel so incredibly blessed that I have the incredible opportunity to serve alongside an amazing team, pouring into the lives of, and equipping our future generation. It has truly been a journey where I have grown more than I ever imagined and have been so overwhelmingly blessed by seeing the children grow in both knowledge and relationship with God.... 18.01.2022 Thankful Thursday- it is such a honour and blessing to help our children understand the voice of God. The joy it brings seeing that moment children realise that God wants to, and has, spoken just to them is indescribable! This year we have regularly been engaging in visual, guided prayer activations to help us encounter Gods presence and allow time for God to speak into our hearts. Followed by some journalling time to help us remember and thank Him for the message He has given us. Here are a few from this week

12.01.2022 WHAT IS RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT? From this point on in their lives we want to help our children become conscious of the fact that the Lord will speak to them every day. One of the simplest ways is by using the example of a streetlight. Red is for stop. Yellow is for caution. Green is for go. This week the children learned that God’s voice is not always a voice. More often than not is it a feeling. The red light is a yucky feeling, or a no in your tummy. The yellow is when we are confused in our minds. The green light represents the feeling of peace that comes when God is saying "yes or go" Join us this Sunday for part 2!

This term we have been learning about how God leads us by peace, we had some special visitors join us to help us with our lesson recently One thing that can represent peace is our pets, when things are calm and quite and there are no disturbances of any kind they will be calm, maybe even curl up on your lap, especially if you pet them! They feel safe and loved. But if there are loud noises, banging or other disturbances they may put their guard up or run an...d hide to get away from the potential problems Even animals know when something is peaceful or not. Jesus talked about peace. He said "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you" (John 14.27) Peace is from God. Peace is what God wants us to have in our hearts. Peace is one way that God leads us. The Bible says "we're led forth with Peace" (Isaiah 55.12) Our prayer is that all our children and families would come to know Gods peace and be led forth by it

01.01.2022 A Parent’s Food for Thought: Many parents have testified over the years that when they began to teach their children to hear God’s voice, their job of parenting got significantly easier. Mom and dad were no longer the bad guys keeping them from what they wanted to do. They were hearing from... God themselves. But also, it is good to remember, and to also teach your children, that if they never learn to obey your voice, as the parents, they will never learn to obey God. If they are slow to obey you, they will be slow to obey Him. When dealing with issues at home, ask your child, Did you get a red light on that? Did God give you a green light?
