24.01.2022 Hi all, some interesting times in the world at the moment. At this stage we are still planning to run the final Komatsu Women’s Challenge Series match this Saturday (21st March) at Harrup Park. There will be some limitations, based on advice from Qld Cricket. As well as the common-sense hygiene stuff, this includes: - no handshakes or team huddles... - no sharing equipment (other than the ball). With this in mind, could you please comment or inbox the page to advise: 1. Do you intend to play on 21st March? 2. Do you have your own cricket gear (pads, gloves, helmet)? If the decision is taken out of our hands by further medical advice then so be it; we will act in accordance with what is best for individual and public safety! Thanks, Lou.
23.01.2022 Hi All, Please be advised that the following finals have been cancelled for this weekend: * All Juniors (Grand Finals rescheduled for 21st March, No Stage 1 - U...11 final round) * All Senior Semi Finals (Top 2 teams advance to Grand Finals on 21st March) * WAGs & MAGs GF (Rescheduled for 22nd March) Master Blasters is still on tonight with Div 2 and All Girls from 4:30pm, and Div 1 from 6:15pm.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING: - Due to COVID restrictions, protective gear (pads, gloves, helmet) cannot be shared. - If you want to have a bat, you will need to BYO (batting is not compulsory, if you just want to bowl or do some fielding, that’s fine). - Water bottle. - Enthusiasm! The 'junior umpires' undertake a short course th...at then gives them the ability to umpire the Ladies Social 8's games on Sunday afternoons and other similar fixtures. This is a good opportunity to make some pocket money and learn more about the game, or develop into an accredited umpire.
