25.01.2022 A great post about deliberately killing snakes from my friend and fellow catcher, Scott Carson. Thanks mate.

25.01.2022 Oh dear! Guess what kind of kids pet this coastal carpet python has swallowed? There's 2 Guinea pigs in there! Pythons don't understand the concept of pets, so if you have pets outside, please make sure they're in snake proof cages. Normal barred bird cages are not snake proof. Snake and vermin proof wire and no gaps will keep your pets safe. Alternatively, bring them inside at night.

25.01.2022 Sweetest little brown tree snake caught at SGS Paget. These guys are so well versed in snake safety. I'm always impressed. Thanks to Kenneth and Bec.

24.01.2022 Here is my lesser black whip snake catch. He was hiding out in the garage. Thanks to Stephanie for recording it and letting me post it. The wind was not my friend. I also had the wrong bag for a venomous snake. Oops.

23.01.2022 This at my inlaws place on the Gold Coast. Thanks Brooke for catching him. https://www.facebook.com/351519505042919/posts/1646090598919130/

23.01.2022 Cute little common tree snake I caught this morning from a display cabinet.

21.01.2022 Naughty little common tree snake decided to come inside a health facility. The staff were so professional and great to work with. They did everything right. The clients were never near the snake. Occasionally, a snake will come inside. Mostly chasing food but occasionally for a warm/cool break.

21.01.2022 This cute little spotted python (antaresia maculosa) was hanging out in an air con unit in a research facility at racecourse mill. The staff contacted me to move a dead snake from right inside the unit but I can't take an air conditioner apart. So, the fridgys were sent in to do the job. There, they found a live one hanging in there too. Certainly not something you see every day but there he was. I caught and relocated him before he took off in the hole in the wall. Now he lives in a beautiful area with trees and a pond.

20.01.2022 Love a good fact check

20.01.2022 Another cute little common tree snake. Just adorable!

20.01.2022 I caught this lesser black whip snake yesterday morning. He was so beautiful! Thank you Stephanie for the call.

20.01.2022 Another brown tree snake at Sandys place. I may need to move in.

20.01.2022 Occasionally brown tree snakes are so sleepy, they don't even wake up when I pick them up. Not always but it's cute when it happens.

20.01.2022 This little brown tree snake was found in a meter box in Sarina. Scared the bejebus out of the resident human when he went in to turn off his water. Isn't he just so adorable!?

20.01.2022 Say hi to ole poopy pants here. My bag has so much poo in it! And he covered me in it too. Lol. Snakes will often poo when they're stressed. Having a human pick them up is pretty stressful. This guy was clearly really, really stressed. Coastal carpet python.

19.01.2022 Look at the colour on this cute little common tree snake. He's a beautiful brown colour. This sweet little guy found himself in a house with no way out (at least he couldn't find one. Lol). The resident humans were happy for me to let him ho just over the paddock. Which is totally fine and so much better for the well being of the snake. Snakes don't come inside on purpose. They'd much rather be outside with all that yummy food. Sometimes, their yummy food shoots inside wh...ile the snake is chasing it though and sneaky snake will chase it wherever it goes. Oops. See more

19.01.2022 This little juvenile coastal carpet python decided that office work at Bothwicks was her thing. She was hanging out on an office chair awaiting instructions. The cleaning staff weren't as keen.

17.01.2022 2 beautiful carpet pythons

17.01.2022 This cute little yellow faced whip snake was freaking out the home owner. They're a mildly venomous species. They are uninclined to bite but absolutely will if they are upset. Please do not try to pick them up. Bites from them hurt! A lot. Admiring them from a distance is definitely the best option.

16.01.2022 This little spotted python (Antaresia maculosa) was stuck pretty good in a cast net. Snakes and other wildlife can easily get caught in these. It's a horrible, painful experience and thankfully, the net owner discovered this little dude before it was too late. I was able to free him and will release him as soon as I know he is recovered.

16.01.2022 This snake is gorgeous! She was munching down on a great population of tree frogs. She is a beautiful blue phase colouration. Isn't she just beautiful! Common tree snake

15.01.2022 Um, excuse me. Common tree snake.

13.01.2022 Mackay and Sarina Snake Catcher would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a safe and happy holidays/day off/few days off.

12.01.2022 Naughty brown tree snake taking a munch out of my hand. He's still a cutie. Thanks Sandy. I always love coming to see you.

11.01.2022 A little lacey I relocated from Bucasia last night.

11.01.2022 So, as usually is Murphy's Law, I go to town to do some shopping for my son's camp. Wear normal, girl clothes and thongs. I usually keep boots in the car but they smell and are being cleaned and unstunk. I get a call that my eastern brown snake from the day before is back. Excitement turns to despair. I'm going to a professional business and I really don't look professional at all. Oh boy. Luckily, I had just bought my son thick socks and the business let me borrow some boots. I caught him finally. He was in a much better position this time. No escaping me now. He's a beauty! Eastern brown snake. Highly venomous if interacted with but can be admired from a distance safely.

09.01.2022 While catching Stumpy the other day, we caught sight of this little lace monitor! What a treat!

09.01.2022 When I went to catch the lace monitor last night, I had to also relocate a coastal carpet python from the same house. So cool!

07.01.2022 This little coastal carpet python was caught a week ago in a bird cage where he'd polished off a couple of pet peachfaces. I kept him in care until he digested his meal and released him last night.

06.01.2022 This beautiful common tree snake was caught in East Mackay. He was hoping to score some frogs and lizards in the garage. So cute

06.01.2022 This poor little eastern brown snake had found himself in a bit of a sticky situation at a petrol station down at Ilbilbie. My grip on him is not ideal but I was trying to not hold onto the sticky tape which was stuck to his head and half his body. I didn't want to press down and make him more stuck. After a bath in cooking oil and some perseverance, I got him free and let him go in the bush nearby. You'd think he would want nothing to do with the service station again but the little bugger kept trying to get back there. Finally, he decided the bush was ok and he went on his way. Beautiful people at this service station. Make sure you drop in, fill up, say hi and have a munch if you're down that way.

04.01.2022 So frustrating when you're in laws have a snake on the Gold Coast so you can't help them.

03.01.2022 I went out to the waste facility the other day to relocate this cute little common tree snake. He decided he liked air conditioning too so made his way into the donga. Sorry mate. That's just for us hoomans. You need to stay outside.

03.01.2022 This chunky common tree snake had got himself caught on a patio. He went and hid behind a box and waited for me to come and get him. He's so pretty. And a bit of a chubba. Obviously, he's been on a good wicket! Off to the trees in the bush mate.

02.01.2022 This beautiful 2.43m coastal carpet girl was hanging out on the verandah of a house. They have small animals and this big girl could absolutely make a meal of these pets. She is a stunning and very lady like girl who paid me the respect of not using me as her own personal toilet. Snake catcher 1 I set her free in a beautiful spot with water, trees and rocks to hide under. She utilised one of those holes under a rock to snuggle down in and managed to get her mass down in there. You can just see her in the last shot. Snake 1.

02.01.2022 Another big girl today. I'll call her Stumpy. She has a big stumpy tail. She was in a pond for 3 days. I released her near a creek and she decided she needed to go in so she did. Beautiful girl! About 2m long.

02.01.2022 Another gravid female carpet python. This dark, pretty girl was found in East Mackay.

02.01.2022 This beautiful carpet python was a bigger mumma to be. Pregnant and heavy (5.2kgs) she was hiding in a hole in a retaining wall. I went to release her and she decided she'd had enough of me so munched down on my leg. Mental note to self; Wear appropriate PPE on snake calls. ... Pythons can and will bite if annoyed. Bites hurt and bleed.... a lot. See more

01.01.2022 2 for 1 This was super cool. 2 coastal carpet pythons in an outdoor air con unit in Glenella. They weren't huge but 1 was significantly smaller than the other. I loved catching them.

01.01.2022 Late night sneaky snake. A coastal carpet python from Mirani. Such a sweet little guy. Such a lovely family. So lovely, the snake was keen to stay. Lol
