02.01.2022 Our first ever term of Mackay City Strings was a huge success thanks to all of the hardworking committee members and orchestra members. We have started out with... a strong number of (awesome) strings players, but the more the merrier! If you are in (or you son or daughter) year 6 at school this year or older and plays a string instrument, then we want you!! We are offering half price annual membership until the end of July! That's only $30 for those under 19 and $50 for those over 19. For your money you'll rehearse with us weekly (only during school terms) on Wednesday's from 4.30-6pm at th3 Mackay City Band Hall, regular community performances and you'll make some new friends!
