25.01.2022 Hi everyone, with more strict guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19, I need to pass on that Mackay City Strings rehearsals will be cancelled for the remainder of this term. Enjoy a long holiday and we look forward to seeing everyone in Term 2, unless you hear from us otherwise. Keep enjoying music - there are plenty of YouTube clips to play along with our repertoire.

21.01.2022 A huge thank you to everyone who supported us at Mackay City Strings this year.... 8 performances, 38 rehearsals, guest artists, collaborations, Eisteddfod prizes, over 50 songs learnt and performed and an awful lot of fun. What a big year 2019 was. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and look forward to an even bigger and better 2020 of music making! Happy Holidays!

01.01.2022 Mackay City Strings were very privelidged this afternoon to have Glenn Christensen and Alexandra Partridge from the Mackay Chamber Music Festival workshop with us. A fantastic experience for all and a lot of laughs had. Many thanks from all of us City Stringers!
