21.01.2022 Day 1 of the Queensland Sprint Championships in Brisbane. Fantastic results from everyone with plenty of PB’s achieved. We are all so proud of you Milly, Isaac, Eden A, Rourke, Jarek, Eden B, Anessa, Anneka, Mackenzie, Alex, Nick, Elise and Vaughn. Congratulations to our swimmers who placed in the top 10 or finals. Eden A 6th 50m breaststroke Mackenzie 6th 50m butterfly Vaughn 2nd reserve for final 50m breaststroke.... What an amazing job coach Leigh-Anne has done preparing this mighty team for the championships.

18.01.2022 Mackay Cyclones very first inter club meet. A massive thank you to Pioneer Swimming Club for leading the way and helping out in every way possible. The swimmers all had a fantastic time mixing with and competing against each other. Thanks Mirani Swimming Club and Pioneer Swimming Club for supporting our inter club meet.

17.01.2022 Congratulations Mackenzie on being nominated for the 10-12 years MKY District School Sports awards for swimming. Mackenzie was also named as an overall top 10 finalist for her swimming, cross country and athletics achievements throughout the year and took out the Col Webley encouragement award. Para Olympic swimmer Monique Murphy presented Mackenzie with her awards.

16.01.2022 What a fabulous weekend for Mackay Cyclones at the North Queensland Championships over the weekend! 36 Cyclones competitors, 11 relay teams, loads of PB’s and medals. Congratulations to the Mackay Cyclones team and Coach Leigh-Anne on a successful swim meet.
