19.01.2022 IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION - YES THE EVENT IS STILL GOING AHEAD! I'm sure most of you are aware about the Coronavirus situation, like the rest of Australia. With our annual event less than 4 weeks away, we have had to make the difficult decision to limit our attendance numbers to 500 per day. Based on the information we have available, this is the most viable option as opposed to cancelling the event entirely. Typically our event doesn't attract many more than the 500 people... per day, but having to cap these numbers is unusual for us. We are still considering whether to allow pre-purchase of tickets for entry and camping so people are not disappointed, but we'll announce that at a later date if it's a viable option. There will be some additional health and safety precautions that we will need to implement, and our focus over the coming days and weeks will be ensuring we have an adequate plan to maximise health and safety. We intend on making sure you all have an awesome time at our event, and I'm sure our competitors are keen to put on a wicked show for you! Don't forget we have a stack of new stages, new obstacles and 36 trucks to show you what they're capable of! We will still have all of our usual event facilities and kids activities. The last few spaces we have left will be reserved for kids, sponsors and competitors. Thank you all for your support in these uncertain times! 16.01.2022 UPDATE RE MORC 2020 and coronavirus! We have made the difficult decision, in light of the the virus and government position on gatherings etc, that MORC 2020 will not go ahead. There are no words to express how incredibly disappointed and saddened we are to have to cancel but we feel it is the right thing to do based on the information we have at hand. We will now process refunds for anyone who has purchased tickets, and will contact everyone who has placed an order for shirt...s that intended to pick them up - as these will now need to be posted to you. Please be patient as we work through all of this. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing property owners, Jason and Katie, who have worked tirelessly for the past few months prepping the property for the event, organising supplies, sponsors (and the list goes on really) - only to have their efforts go without reward. They put so much into this event, and to have it cancelled, well, it just sucks! It is not going to be the same not having their delicious bacon and egg burgers for breakfast at Easter :( Bring on 2021 where we will (HOPEFULLY) not have any limits on numbers and can seriously go to town on making this event our biggest and best yet!
