23.01.2022 I wont be taking on any new work for the foreseeable future. Fixing other peoples reels is getting in the way of using mine. On a serious note I have been overwhelmed with work and my young family is missing out . The reels I have on the bench will be finished to the same high standard as always and returned as soon as possible. Thanks to all of my customers for your support.

21.01.2022 MAFSA each year stocks limited numbers of tagged barra in the Gooseponds and T. Trigg recaptured one of our tagged barra 12 days after release and it had grown... from 320mm to 350mm over the 12 days. Hopefully he was chowing down on tilapia!!! Also in May a keen young angler caught a 89cm Barra at the bottom end of the Gooseponds not tagged but what a catch. See more

03.01.2022 I can usually clean and service a reel in a few days but if your reel requires parts it will depend on availability. The most common parts are bearings and they average between $5 and $10 each delivered in less than a week. They can be express posted for an additional cost and purchased in reel kits for better value, insuring all your bearings are in top condition.

03.01.2022 This week I serviced this Shimano Saragosa SW10000. The Reel itself was in good condition but the line roller bearing was bugged. For $25 including express shipping I was able to replace all the bearings and after the $40 service this $370 Reel Is Just like brand new for just $65. I put together a little before and after video.
