12.01.2022 Client called and asked us if we could check out his truck he was round 25km from emerald with a deck of cattle for the weekly cattle sale when the truck suddenly died and wouldn't start so we travelled out to the job and checked why it wouldn't start and run. after checking all the common things a grim discovery of the auxiliary drive gear to the compressor and fuel pump has spun on the shaft causing the engine to starve for fuel and cut out with all new OEM parts put back in place our client will be back carting cattle again remember no job to big or small here at Mackay's Diesel Repairs

06.01.2022 Clients vehicle came in for a roadworthy/COI part of the inspection is to check for loose items in this case the loose item is in a video attached other photos are in the comments section of other underlying issues that are soon going to arise please people if your unsure of something with your car or truck take it to someone who deals with it on a day to day basis!

04.01.2022 hi guys haven't posted anything for a while we have been quite busy just wanted to share some of the things we have come across in the past few weeks here at Mackay's Diesel Repairs client brought there RAV 4 Diesel in saying it was jumping gears (automatic transmission) and hard to start and that there is a picture of my engine on the dash and its orange!! well wonder what it could be 102,000km on the clock we plugged the scan tool in and what do you know number four injector has packed it in so we replaced the injectors and we also fitted a secondary fuel filter kit and sent client on her way these secondary filter kits are a must if you have a new common rail diesel engine
