22.01.2022 The season is fast coming to an end. There are only 4 weeks of Mondays & 5 weeks of Wednesdays and Fridays for seniors and 6 weeks for juniors and 7 weeks for grade 2. With this in mind if you need to check your players eligibility for finals please email Bette with Team Name & player name. Because of the new system this will take a bit longer than in the past. Please allow at least 1 week for an answer.

16.01.2022 Coach nominations for the 2021 Q Youth Academy are now open for Junior Broncos, Cowboys and Titans Permit teams. Coach applications are now open for 2021 Q Youth Academy to be held Friday 12 February Sunday 14 February 2021. Coaches and Assistant Coaches will be appointed for U14 and U16 Boys and Girls teams for each permit team Junior Broncos, Cowboys and Titans. QTF will endeavour to ensure coaches are from within each region reflective of the permit teams. Coaches wil...l be selected for their respective permit by the QTF HP Panel. Interested coaches from within regions and affiliates are encouraged to apply, along with coaches from regional teams competing at 2020 National Youth Championships. Coach Appointment Guidelines available below. To complete your application please complete the Coach Expression of Interest Form. 03.01.2022 Mixed Draw 30th Sept Some teams have been asking why they have to referee games. This is a part of Mackay Touch Conditions of Entry and By-Laws. Mackay Touch only has a hand full of non playing referees (volunteers) who referee every timeslots each night. It is your teams responibility to supply a referee.

02.01.2022 Hi All, I am informing you that during school holidays Men’s and Women’s A Grade will be moved to Monday nights. We don’t feel that missing 3 weeks of competition for your teams is a fair option. We also have looked at having the fields operating for only 3 games and this is not a viable option for Mackay Touch. We understand that this may cause confusion however we believe this is the best option. Games will be played on Friday 11th Sept Round 7... Monday 14th Sept Round 8 (School Holidays) Monday 21st Sept Round 9 (School Holidays) Monday 28th Sept Round 10 (School Holidays) Friday 9th Oct Round 11 Please advise your team members.
