15.01.2022 There are a lot of people in our Community doing it tough right now, and its never been more important to reach out to our friends and family and let them know that someone cares, and that they are not alone. Its important to remember the impact this health crisis is having on our mental health. You dont need to be a medical expert to be there for someone. You might not be able to meet face-to-face, but picking up the phone, having a video call, starting a group chat or m...essaging someone on social media lets them know you are there to talk and ready to listen. If someone opens up to you, remember that you dont need to fix things or offer advice. Often just listening, and showing you take them seriously, can help someone to manage. #mackaywomenscentre #mackaywomensservices #reachouttosomeone
