15.01.2022 Hi Everyone! Due to the govt shutting down non-essential services over the next 48 hrs I will be stopping work at the end of trade on Tuesday. I will be in touch with clients that have appointments scheduled after Tuesday in the next few days. Thanks for your support and understanding at this time. Please stay safe and well! Xx Beck. I am now going to be wearing a mask while working and if possible would love it if you could too when in my chair. (Waiting on delivery of masks so I can provide for you. ) I will temperature check you at the door. If a fever is present I will have to refuse service and reschedule you. 13.01.2022 Hi Everyone! Just popping a Coronavirus update. I'm working Mondays Tuesdays and Saturdays as usual. I am maintaining a spotless, regularly cleaned salon, and I have hand sanitizer on the bench for clients to use. Most of my clients are aware that I have autoimmune issues and know how I feel about people coming when sick, but I will just gently remind everyone that if you are sick in any way please reschedule your appointment. 12.01.2022 Hello! Just an update,I am still going through and rebooking everyone, it's just taking longer than expected with these two kids around lol! AND I also wanted to let you know that whilst I'm closed now, when I return (hopefully by the 27th April) I will be working 5 days a week to catch up, until I have caught up. 06.01.2022 Just another update regarding my reopening dates... Firstly, I hope everyone is staying safe and sane in these uncertain times and I hope you had a wonderful Easter! My original plan was to reopen on the 27th of April. I can't see that happening. As I work from home, I have to apply the restrictions that apply to households such as No Visitors. My families safety must come first. Also, with home schooling and no day care, my boys are very much needing their Mumma Bear.... This whole situation is heartbreaking as I miss everyone and you all know how much I adore not only doing your hair but our friendships! So, my plan of action is to cease operating until schools are running normally, Jez is back at work and the world is less crazy. As soon as this is all over, I will be in contact with you via here or text to rebook. If you're booked in already I will be in contact in the next week. I feel like I'm grieving! 06.01.2022 Ok, ok, ok. So I have decided to open the salon again! Yaaaaay! BUT! I am doing a gradual open for a few reasons; 1. I need to contact every one who had an appt when I closed and get them in first. 2. I am only having ONE client at a time and will be sanitizing everything in between. 3. I have had a Fibromyalgia flare and am just recovering so don't want to over do it and end up being unable to work.
