25.01.2022 To all our wonderful customers, Wow - We are really living in some crazy times right now! So whilst things seem very strange and the waters are uncharted we wanted to reassure you that we will do our very best to continue to bring you a fabulous space where you can create lasting memories! We really are all in this together!... So with that said and in light of the World Health Organisation declaring Coronavirus (COVID-19) a pandemic and the recent decision to cancel any events where over 500 people will be present we felt it pertinent to communicate some important information regarding our business operations. MacKenzie Quarters and MsBatterhams have always maintained high levels of food and hygiene practices within our business. The food safety program works to ensure all members of our team adopts quality food safety standards across everything that is prepared in our kitchen. However in response to the current situation we are adopting the following additional measures: ______________ Moving forward we will 1. Ensure all tabletops are sanitised pre and post use. 2. All table settings, (cutlery, crockery, glasses) are cleaned at high heat and sanitised during cleaning. 3. Tables settings (cutlery, crockery, glasses) will be set to order. 4. Any staff members that have recently traveled to an affected area or overseas are quarantined for a 14-day period and not allowed to return to work until medically cleared. 5. Any staff member who has a fever, cough or flu-like symptoms, will be required to stay at home and seek medical advice if required. 6. Hand sanitisers will be placed in all bathrooms and be available for guests on request. 7. Our team will regularly clean and wipe down all high traffic surfaces. Including but not limited to door handles, bathrooms surfaces and bar tops, with a commercial grade sanitiser. 8. Doors will remain open where possible to minimise contact ____________ We ask you to remember that your continued support will allow local businesses and their suppliers to survive. Your support will also keep staff employed. We will be closely monitoring the situation and recommendations from government agencies and update when necessary and follow protocols as issued. During this uncertain time we also ask patrons with a fever, cough or flu-like symptoms, to please stay at home and seek medical advice if required.
