24.01.2022 Well all I can say is this week has been busy as usual. I was expecting things to tone down ,but noooo thats not the case...So we have been disinfecting and sanitising like crazy. I have been using hospital grade disinfectant on everything. Its really amazing when you sit down and think about what you actually touch in your home... we have been doing our best to try and protect all our clients. But we also needs their help, in telling us information that may have an effect on us. Im a grandmother and have friends with babies and young children, so I dont want anything to make them sick due to someone not sharing information with me. So all is good so far, lets keep this COVID 19 out of Blackwater. Well done everyone. Hope you all enjoy your Easter and remember the rules to help us all stay healthy.

23.01.2022 Well it’s been a massive week again.. thank goodness it’s nearly over. Very happy with our efforts on our last little project. I think this house will rent quickly now as it’s had a make over.. we rehung better curtains for the client as the ones that were there were old and shabby. Full clean inside and out. Plus major yard make over from Mark Leishman ( Leishman property Services) he does a fantastic job. Now to get ready for today!! Been up since 3.15 am. Going to be a long day. Might need more than one coffee. Have a great weekend everyone.

23.01.2022 Feeling relieved: Well we are just about at the end of this month... Its been a massive triumph as we had to push hard to get ahead with all our bond cleans, due to something unforeseen presenting itself, but Im finally seeing the light at the end. Hopefully by todays end it will be DONE & DUSTED. Thank you to my best little co worker Karen who went above and beyond to get us here before she had to head off. ... Also a massive thank you to all our clients for your co operation and also the Real Estates involved. ohhhh and I have some exciting news to add to the page soon... so keep watching this space... 22.01.2022 Sooo just as I thought things were getting better, turns out there are still dodgy cleaners in Blackwater. Just had to do a fix up, no it was a full bond clean as the clean was disgusting. I guess its been a while so lets hope the dodgy cleaner doesnt give all the good cleaners a bad name. Do these cleaners have no morals or passion for their work.. they just do the basics and take ya money...see ya later!!! Its bloody frustrating for us who have to go in and redo the clean, the agents who have to tell the client its a bad clean, then you have the Tennant who either has to make them come back or potentially loose their bond money to get another professional clean done.. Come on people be smart, ask around for recommendations , do your homework. You as a Tennant stand to loose the most.

21.01.2022 Well it certainly has been a busy week. Since karen has come on board we have had hardly a moment to catch our breath. Today we get to relax, then get ready to do it all again tomorrow. I often get asked what is the difference between bond cleaners as pricing can vary greatly..Well we at Mackies Cleaning do the little things that others dont... we ensure you get your bond returned and will return and fix any problems the Real Estate find. But we dont need to return as w...e do it right the first time. Also its best to check with your agent to see who they use, as most of there cleaners are the ones they use and are happy with there work. If you pay for a cheep clean thats what you get, along with the stress and maybe more expense to get someone to fix up the previous clean.. lost count of how many people have rang over the last month with questions re what we do in a bond clean as they want to compare us to their cleaners work. Had a call from a lady tonight wanting a spring clean done on 2 of her homes.., during our conversation she informed me that she found out about Mackies Cleaning whilst sitting on a plane next to another lady on her way back from Brisbane to Emerald. Wow.. Im flying high. Im certainly glad all our hard work and dedication has paid off and is giving us such a good reputation amongst people from far and... wide. 16.01.2022 So over the last few years of doing bond cleaning we have seen many sights..Most of the cleans are not to bad, but then when you get a bad one, its really really bad. Below are some photos of what I can say is our worst one. I was so relieved it was over I forgot to keep the after photos. Lets just say we used a lot of strong chemicals and lots of disinfectant. I was quite happy with our efforts on this one.

15.01.2022 Hello everyone... I would like to show you some photos that I’ve recently taken. These were at a house that had been bond cleaned. I think it’s safe to say it did not meet the realestate standard. I’m not sure how much they charged this poor Tennant but they should be ashamed of themselves. These cleaners are a local company and can’t clean for crap. I was absolutely disgusted what we found when I had to do the quote for a fix up.. So below are before and after pics..do y...our homework when looking for a bond cleaner please.. I’m sick to death of doing fix ups after useless cleaners. Book early, ask for real estate approved cleaners, ask what the price covers and if they will return to fix up. This poor Tennant paid for a crappy job, now has to pay again. Safe to say she won’t have any change from her bond money. I’m so close to naming this business as I’ve had a gut full.

14.01.2022 Exciting News!!!! Well its with great pleasure Mackies Cleaning has grown by 1 new team member... I would like to introduce my new side kick, partner in crime, offsider... And past and present work colleague... karen! Karen and I have worked together when we were with Steel Cap Cleaners, then she has helped me out on many occasions when I started working for myself. So after much deliberation Im super excited to have her on my team. She is a hard worker, very reliable and trustworthy . So if you are looking for a cleaner please feel free to message me and we will do our best to fit you in.. Dont forget we also do carpets, upholstery cleaning, Bond Cleaning, General cleans, Spring cleans and the list goes on and on.. we are preferred cleaners for both realestates and have insurance cover also.

13.01.2022 Morning !!! So Ive been hearing around town about people having problems with their bond cleaners... not returning for fix ups, pricing and half jobs done!!!! As Ive noticed there are quite a few cleaners in town now and the pricing is varied greatly... All I can suggest is, if you require a Bond Cleaner, please check with your property manger/ Realestate who they use as their preferred cleaners. Also ask the cleaner if they will return to do any fix ups required by t...he realestate and what is included in the cleaning quote. Also ask if the cleaner has insurance?? If something is broken then the Tennant will wear that cost also if the cleaner has no insurance.. Any body can say they are the preferred cleaner for a Realestate, Businesses etc, its up to you to do your homework. Please keep in mind, cheap prices can mean a crappy job and a lot of headaches... Mackies Cleaning go above and beyond to ensure your bond is returned, by doing a thorough job the first time..

13.01.2022 Wow... last week was a massive one for us. 5 Bond cleans , 1 fix up plus our normal customers also in 6 days... what were we thinking Karen Dickens??? Oh well it was all good. 10.01.2022 Heads up people:!!! Just been contacted re a fix up for carpet cleaning.. this Tennant used the lady that came from Rocky. Please be aware that it may be cheap, but once shes done she will not come back for any fix ups and her carpet pricing is ridiculous.. This poor Tennant now has to go back and do the fix up plus get her carpets redone which costs more money . She said one quote she got was very expensive, and the rest of us were booked out...which does make it hard.... At least if you use local cleaners they are able to return to fix any problems the Realestate find. Support local, keep jobs here in our town. If you book your cleaner as early as possible you wont have a problem. Dont leave it till the last minute!!!

10.01.2022 Well Im not quiet sure what to do with myself... Going from flat out nearly every day to a nice steady pace.. Ive fully cleaned my house done all my paperwork, now just sitting here enjoying the quiet of the evening. I can surely get used to working like this. Stay safe everyone.!!

09.01.2022 Well thank god Friday is over.. its been a busy week with cleaning, refresh cleans, mattress cleans, a massive bond and carpet clean and another one just to add to the week. Ohhh and not to mention all my regular clients as well. So had a last minute job to do today for a owner to remove mould from bathroom ceiling, was feeling generous so did it for FREEEEE. 06.01.2022 Well we had a Bond & Carpet Clean on the weekend which I can say was absolutely horrible. The smell that was in the house was enough to make me dry reach on opening the door. The odour was in the carpet, on the walls, in the air con filters which were clogged up with lets say dust/dirt. I started to wonder if we were ever going to win this one... After many hrs spent removing food and god knows what from places I thought were impossible, to finally start seeing that there was a light at the end... At the end, Underneath all the filth and smell we finally finished, revealing a pleasant little house.

06.01.2022 Morning !! Well we have been extremely busy again, almost finished a big clean at 6.30pm last night and still have carpets and a few odd bits to do.. Had to deal with a lot of mould again. Hopefully today its done and dusted.

06.01.2022 You know the old sayings about a dentist, doctor, hairdresser that dont look after themselves??? well thats not the case for Mackies Cleaning.... we take pride in our equipment and all our chemicals and mostly how we are organised and store our equipment and chemicals...We just dont like mess and chaos. Loving my new shelving in my equipment and chem room. My days off was organising this lot.

06.01.2022 Well I can certainly say this Virus is causing a lot of concern in our community. We just all need to be careful with our daily actions. I was feeling some of my clients could do with a little less stress, so I gifted their cleaning requirements to them... 1 lady is a nurse and also studying. So I gifted her clean to her as shes on the front line and we all need to appreciate the dedication these people give.... The 2nd lady was a lovely pensioner who I have gifted her carpet clean once before. She had carpets once again so yes they got done for free. Every little bit helps in these tough times.

05.01.2022 So we have been fairly busy yet again. Last few jobs have been full internal and external bond cleans plus carpets. We can do everything that is needed. Had to remove some grime and mould from the outside of the last one. Looked a lot better and fresher when it was done. Walls, eves, ceiling, carport and verandah. This one is a very tidy and cute little gem.

05.01.2022 Well we have certainly been busy again.. Recently whilst doing a bond clean on a furnished unit we had to clean the clothes dryer. To our dismay we found the lint filter fully blocked up. Please keep in mind when using dryers to empty filter every time, as it can lead to overheating and actually catch alight which is a common cause for house fires...
