07.01.2022 Paper Champions revels in the strengths of its diverse cast, including lots of locals who weren’t professional actors. It seems like there would have been much hilarity behind-the-scenes. Yeah, my job was just to rein people in really, Brechin laughs. It was just a blast. John, Garry and Genevieve Morris really elevated the new guys, bringing their wealth of experience and gave all those actors so much confidence to just have a crack and do it. The aim was to create an environment where everybody can play and have fun and hopefully it shows on screen. It does. Premiering tonight!!! Get your tickets and watch online with us at 730pm!!

07.01.2022 The Casting Guild of Australia - CGA iis thrilled to be launching the Casting Guild Self Tape Library. To make the most of this time and be productive, the CGA are joining forces with Casting Networks in calling for Australian and New Zealand Actors to send us a self tape, helping us create a unique 2020 Library that all CGA members can use as a reference moving forward as the industry re-opens in coming months. We are calling for Self Tapes over a 3 week period divided in...to age groups. Week 1 Monday 11th May Ages 16-19 & 20-29 years old (Deadline Sunday 17th May) Week 2 Monday 18th May Ages 30 39 & 40 49 years old (Deadline Sunday 24th May) Week 3 Monday 25th May Ages 50 59 & 60 and over (Deadline Sunday 31st May) Each week a tape will be chosen at random to win a Casting Networks 12 Month Premium Membership & a 12 Month TheBizBook membership. Prize winners will be announced Monday 8th June. At the end of the process all CGA members will receive a link to the Casting Networks Library to use as a reference for future projects. Please be careful re your scene choice, make sure you only use scenes from projects that have already gone to air and that you haven’t previously signed a non disclosure agreement for.
