14.01.2022 Please be advised that MACKSVILLE Showground is for authorised camping only and is currently home to Blazeaid and not available to the public. You can contact Nambucca Shire Council or Nambucca Information Centre to find approved camping grounds in the valley.

12.01.2022 The 2020 Macksville Show has been cancelled as a direct result of COVID-19 and advice from the ASC following advice from the Chief Medical Officer and NSW Health. The Show Directors regret having to make this decision, and want to thank everyone involved for their hard work and commitment to one of the best and most successful regional shows in the state. We look forward to staging Macksville Show in 2021 and wish good health and wellbeing for our community in the difficult months ahead.

08.01.2022 Very happy to announce six exciting initiatives in the Nambucca Shire which have been funded by the State Government. These grants will improve local facilit...ies and have ongoing benefits for our community. Scotts Head Tennis Club - $30,000 towards replacing two hard court surfaces and improving drainage. Macksville Showground - $44,000 for major electrical upgrade works. Bowraville Recreation Club - $18,000 to buy a new aerator to maintain the golf and bowls greens. Macksville Ex-Services Junior Cricket Club - $11,823 towards upgrading training facilities, including nets and a synthetic wicket. Scotts Head Sharks Football Club - $23,000 to upgrade canteen facilities at Buz Brazel Oval. Bowraville Arts Council - $21,380 towards improving access to the Bowraville Historical Theatre. Macksville Showground president, Michael Ettelson, pavilion steward Peter Grace, as well as Peter Trisley and team.

03.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT Unfortunately, as a direct result of recent Covid19 restrictions, this year’s 2021 MACKSVILLE SHOW has been CANCELLED. The decision was made by the Nambucca River District Agricultural Association Limited Board of Directors - after considering the health and safety of the Nambucca Valley community. The show plans to return in 2022.
