20.01.2022 Notes from a ‘ballet’ dancer... Lets incorporate Jazz, modern, hip-hop, contemporary and tap just to name a few, and instead of calling me a 'ballet' dancer, how about just a dancer! You can't tell me you've never danced, I just won't believe you. Weddings? Nights out? In the shower? See... I don't care what sort of movement you are creating, I'm calling it some form of dance. And it was fun wasn't it? And you can now tick the box that you are in fact, a 'dancer' too. I beli...eve that to be the best you can be, you need the right tools to create your success. It doesn't matter how old you are, what you look like, where you are from or what you do. It also doesn’t matter what sport or profession you are talking about, without the correct tools and training you may not be as successful as you think. Ballet, let’s be honest, can be boring for some people and not much fun, but it gives you the technique, strength and discipline you need to form all other facets of dance. Look at it as the foundation. Then add the bricks, (hip-hop, tap, and so on) to build the walls. Add persistence hard work and a smile, (the roof) and you have built yourself a house. And we all know houses need maintenance and work. Sidebar - I may have now deterred you from referring to me as a ‘ballet’ dancer, you might even now think of me as a builder (but I'm not). What I’m saying is MACKX Dance will do its absolute best to give you all the tools and training you need to build your greatest dancing successes, with life skills, friendships, and a heap of fun whilst we are at it! Ask Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Patrick Swayze, Peter Allen, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Twitch, Usher, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, MC Hammer, Run-DMC and Channing Tatum and see what they say! ... MACKX Dance has designed classes with boys and guys in mind, bringing masculinity, strength, control, power and a bit of muscle to all the moves, in all forms of dance. See more

Term 1 - 6 February to 28 March Mondays - ... 6pm - 6:45 - Senior Tap (ages 13+ incl Adults) 6:45 - 7:30 - Senior Class (ages 13+ incl Adults) Tuesdays - 5:30 - 6:15 - Junior Class (ages 6-13) 6:15 - 7pm - Junior Tap (ages 6-13) All classes are $10 each and can be paid weekly, monthly or by term. Please contact us for further information and registration. Eisteddfod work is also available but not compulsory. Cannot wait to get this year started !
