23.01.2022 Congratulations to Fred Stair who cracked our safe today and won the jackpot of $1200. Not a bad day out for a game of social bowls. The Jackpot will reset now back to $100 starting this Friday.

After 3 rounds there were only 2 teams that won all 3 games making it a competitive tournament 1st 83 points, Jim Shannon, Carol & Ron Byrum 2nd 80 points, Pauline Ryan, Rob Wetzel & Ray Ryan... 3rd 67 points, Dave & Helen Atkinson & Cliffe Vagg Rd 1 Sandra Youlten, John Hupfield & Peter Hurst Rd 2 John Nash, Monica Parker & Paul Burnes Rd 3 Lee Rae, Reg Austin & Sparra A huge congratulations to Kim Fraser & Ross Murphy on winning the Zone 1 President’s Reserve Pairs title on the weekend. They will now head to the state finals early next year. Nomination Sheets are up for all State events for 2021. Pennant nomination list is also on the board. Netball have made a massive surge with two big wins tonight and are now in 2nd Pony Club are holding down 3rd while Darts 3 have moved into 4th on the back of 2 wins tonight... Bobcats 1 have dropped out of the Top 4 for the first time in nearly 3 seasons. Two more weeks to play before the finals week so anything can still happen

13.01.2022 We have come to the end of our round robin and we are set for finals week next week of our Community Barefoot Bowls Challenge An amazing effort from the Darts 2 team to secure top spot and Darts 3 team also in the Top 4. The darties have been regular supporters of our Friday night bowls with no luck in past seasons Netball secure 2nd place after playing solid all season long, and last years winners the Pony Club finish 3rd... Semi Finals for next week with teams playing for the $1500 prize pool are: Darts 2 v Darts 3 Netball v Pony Club The winners will go on to play for the $700 1st prize for their group they are representing All other teams will be playing a repercharge event for minor prizes so everyone still has a chance for a prize
