25.01.2022 Hi everyone, just letting you all know that the new pool heater I had installed in the shut down is not reaching its desired temperature. The supplier has informed me that there has been apparently a few with faulty heat exchangers, just my luck . Hopefully this will be fixed ASAP. I will let you all know if your child’s lesson will not be on next week. Sorry for the inconvenience but 30’ is just not warm enough.

19.01.2022 A little more clarification about today’s announcement: indoor pools can open on 13th June for independent swimmers only, not learn to swim children unfortunately. There maybe further updates on Friday .

18.01.2022 Some positive news finally!!!. At this stage, I am still thinking the 20th of July is when I will re-open. The centre is looking really great after a touch of painting and decorating which I’m sure the kids will love to see when they return. There will also be a few changes with distancing, which I will discuss when I contact everyone in early July. Myself and all of your instructors look forward to seeing you all back very soon now. Take care, Wendy.

11.01.2022 Hi everyone!! Our new re-opening day is MONDAY 13TH JULY. I will start to contact you all in the coming weeks to check that the suitability of your kids pre-COVID day and time is still ok. As we will be implementing COVIDSAFE practices, please only 1 parent per family to attend lessons and try not to come too early or too late, as only the parents of the kids in the pool will be allowed on the pool deck and the next class in will need to wait at the bottom of the ramp. Remember all payments and makeups will carry on. We are all looking forward to seeing everyone real soon, take care, Wendy

10.01.2022 Get Free Swimming Lessons with Learn2Swim Week! We’re excited to be partnering with Learn2Swim Week 2020, which offers free swimming lessons for children under five to introduce the importance of water safety. Learn2Swim Week is a Poolwerx initiative and runs from 30 September 7 October, supported by Laurie Lawrence’s Kids Alive - Do The Fivecampaign. 10.01.2022 Re-opening update: Hi everyone, at this stage I intend to re-open the swim centre on the 20th July, that is after the next school holidays, providing we do continue as we are with no further setbacks. I will start to contact everyone early in July to check that your children’s reserved day and time are still suitable for you. Please contact me if you have any concerns at all or if you already know that you will need to make changes. Please continue to stay safe, Wendy.

05.01.2022 As of today it has been announced that now all indoor centres must have all visitors register upon entry using our QR code every time you visit. Apologies, but we have to follow the rules so we remain a COVID safe business.

05.01.2022 Breaking News NSW From the Deputy Chief of Staff Office of the Minister for Sport 1) Distancing rules for children once in the pool. Is it the same as school/preschool?... Distancing rules will be listed in the yet to be approved Public Health Order (13 June). You should be using the 4sqm rule as a guide together with the 100 people cap for indoor facilities. 1) For learn to swim age group help and guidance Instructors need to have contact with the children. Duty of care in the water without a parent and with their instructor is a priority. Instructors will be able to assist children in the pool as required. 1) When conducting private lessons with special needs children does the distancing rule apply? If so how? These lessons are provided one on one with the instructor and are also considered as therapy for some with certain medical conditions. Socialising distance will not apply in the pool and Instructors will be able to assist as required.

03.01.2022 Practicing our rescues. Oops!!!

03.01.2022 This painting a few things on the wall is turning into a giant mural!! I think Jo and Heather have forgotten that they are swimming instructors and not the artists that they are demonstrating.
