24.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.. 2020 Fundraising Dinner It is with great sadness that the MVCDG has made the tough, but what we think is the right decision to cancel the annual fundraising dinner for 2020 (scheduled for October) due to all the uncertainties that come with the current situation we are facing.... We believe that the immense strain the corona virus pandemic will most probably impact many people and businesses within Australia and especially our local community that this is the best decision for all concerned. We also don’t want to add any extra pressure on anyone financially especially to sponsor, donate or attend the dinner this year considering what the community has already gone through with the bushfires and now this pandemic. The uncertainty of this whole situation is the major reason for the committee’s decision and we hope that everyone can understand and respect this decision. The MVCDG puts the health and well-being of its members, families and the community above all else and urge everyone to do the same at this uncertain time. We hope to make the 2021 fundraising dinner bigger and better! Thank you

14.01.2022 This mother has to "hurt" the one she loves over 750 times per year! A baby with diabetes doesn’t just depend on their mother for nourishment and love. The chil...d is also dependant on insulin injections several times a day. The child's blood glucose levels need to be monitored up to 6 times per day. A person with Type 1 Diabetes need to take insulin to stay ALIVE. A Child with T1D with never OUTGROW it. T1D is not reversable and excercise and healthy eating will not cure it. There is no prevention. DONATE and SUPPORT the DANII Foundation #T1D #DANIIsgift #DANIIfriend #DANIIcommunity #CGM4all #Insulin4all https://www.formstack.com/forms/?1409804-UHN7uDQqN2
14.01.2022 Why is a CGM not subsidised Greg Hunt MP . CGM's save lives! Today is World Diabates Day. Everyone needs to sign the petition for #CGM4all and share share share... with credit. Every person living with Type 1 Diabetes is playing the role of their own pancreas and acting as the role of an organ. Minister @Greg Hunt MP needs to know that every Australian with T1D deserves lifesaving Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) - Ask your family and friends to also sign the petition.
