GLOW with the Flow: A Full Moon Fundraiser will take place at our familiar stomping... grounds of Waves Campground in Crescent Head NSW over the full moon weekend of 19-21 November. But here's the difference... it's a totally renegade event! Everything is created by YOU, our beautiful community, and it will be what we make it. An editable workshop timetable will be made available for you to input any workshop you want (with some exceptions) and shows/entertainment will be in an only slightly managed, open format. You choose your level of donation for the ticket (starting from $40) and book the number of nights you wish to join us directly with Waves Campground. All profits go directly into the 2022 GLOW Fest event. *** How can you help???? *** SHARE SHARE SHARE!! 03.01.2022 "Labyrinth" the movie (David Bowie) (PG Classification) is being screened in Gladstone Park this Saturday 28th November as a Mental Health Month fundraiser. (7....30/8pm) A labyrinth has been set up in the park using 3,000 plastic bricks made from recycled milk bottles. it's an impressive sight. It's buy a brick for $5 with money raised assisting mental Health in the Macleay. Some of the bricks are to be donated to schools. It's such a worthwhile event, it would be worthwhile supporting this as well as experiencing such a unique occasion. 01.01.2022 The People's Choice Award at Sculpture in the Gaol's 20:20 Online Exhibition received 374 votes. And the winner is... ... Master of the Depths by Steve Whalley. Congratulations Steve! Your sculpture proved to be the most popular with our audience. Thanks to our partnership with Coastline Credit Union, you'll receive the $1,000 People’s Choice prize. A huge thank you to all the artists who entered work, including those whose works weren't selected for this exhibition. We'll definitely hold subsequent rounds and announce details in the near future. See more
