Sire: Duporth Dam: Tea Time Located: Ballarat/Miners Rest Tucker is one super cool thoroughbred! He is definitely one of the quietest horses we have in the stable and is easy to handle and ride in all aspects. He’s not your typical tb with his super relaxed nature and chunky build. I have absolutely no doubt that Tucker will thrive in his next phase of life, he will be the ultimate allrounder for somebody who wants to do a little bit of everything. He’s always has been easy to bring back into work after spells and loves his food!! Tucker has retired from racing after only one start, as he has sustained a suspensory injury after a gallop, with vets and owners advice to retire him. I have vet reports from Ballarat Vet Clinic stating that after a spell he should be fine to begin his new career as a low level dressage, show jumping or eventing horse etc. He will require at least a four month spell to allow his suspensory to heal before beginning work, his last start was only 2 weeks ago so he requires a let down from racing any way. Even though he is extremely quiet he is probably best suited to an intermediate rider since he is straight off the track or to a knowledgeable horsey family. Sire: Toronado Dam: Wisegal Located: Ballarat/Miners Rest Adam is a sweet unraced thoroughbred looking for a new home where he can start the next chapter of his life. He has a great nature and will thrive as a pleasure/trail riding hack. He is a pleasure to handle and easy to catch, shoe, float etc. Adam will need a good spell in the paddock to let down from being a race horse and recover from his sesamoiditis. Please do not be turned off by this condition, he will be fine doing light/slower work, as it only flares up with hard galloping. 19.01.2022 Olivia is offering her one of a kind hack for sale ' Monahan Indiana'. Indi is a 16yo, 15.3hh Connemara x TB who is exceptionally well educated on the flat. He has three lovely paces, giving him a real presence under saddle. Indi has been taught the following dressage movements in which he performs very well. These include shoulder in, shoulder four, counter canter, walk to canter, canter to walk, lengthen trot, lengthen canter, simple changes and currently learning traver. H...e has had countless dressage wins, competing grade 3 PC and Prelim EA but ready to move up to Novice. Indi loves to jump, currently competing grade 4 PC and will move up to grade 3 at his next comp. He has completed rounds of 90cm and schooled up to grade 2 xc in my care. Indi would be perfect for any kind of rider, whether you be a confident beginner or more advanced, he has the capabilities to teach you a lot as well as give you all of the confidence in the world. 18.01.2022 Ben during his groundwork session the other day. Groundwork is an essential part in retraining these guys. It builds trust and establishes boundaries but also prepares them to be ridden in a much safer way. It's very important that each horse is feeling comfortable mentally, emotionally and physically to ensure the transition to the horses back is a smooth one. Every horse that comes to Macman Lodge commences their training on the ground first. We can't stress enough how important it is to build a solid foundation for you and your horse so to our followers give horsemanship a go

Unfortunately he has sustained a tendon injury and his ownership wish to retire him from racing. Vet report can be sent to serious enquires only. Nice type of horse with flowing paces and natural self carriage. He is pretty straight forward under saddle and to deal with on the ground. Sire: Darci Brahma (NZ) Dam: Monashees Sex: gelding Price: $1500 Deck was retired sound from racing in December 2016. Deck was trained by Mitch Freedman and a plus side to working in a racing stable is the opportunity to hand pick the horses you love and deck was a clear standout for us! He is a very athletic type who boasts very eye catching movement. He gives the rider a great feel under saddle accompanied with a lovely soft snaffle mouth. Deck has a great nature! Although he can be a little pushy on the ground at times but we have worked on that and he is getting a lot better. In saying that he is a complete gentleman under saddle he has not put one foot out of place, his first time at the local indoor he went around like he had done it 100 times before. Deck is being advertised slightly earlier then we would have liked but since one of the riders is now moving towns we have to find him a home a little prematurely hence the reflection on his price. Video footage will be coming soon and he will be popped over a few fences very shortly. He genuinely is a very sweet horse who will excel in many different disciplines from dressage to eventing and even polo as he is a very sure footed horse. 14.01.2022 We are so beyond excited to announce that Macman Lodge Nicastro, 'Ross' has been sold to the most wonderful home down in Melbourne to the first person that came and rode him. We wish Lu all the best with her new mount and can't wait for many updates Our little business would not be possible if it weren't for the following people. So a huge thank you goes to Kristie Coverdale, Alan Primmer, Nicole Missen and Alec and Ele McDonald for having our horses on your properties at d...ifferent times, it's hugely appreciated. Thanks to Sacha for always making sure our horses feet are in the best condition they can be in. Thanks to Anne-Maree Cowell for always making sure our OTTs are feeling 100% before they commence work and during their retraining with her equine body therapy. Thanks to Cherie Edmonds and Annette Chisholm for your guidance and knowledge during our countless lessons. Height: unmeasured approx 16.1hh Sire: Dalakhani Dam: Montoya Heights This lovely horse is looking for a new 5 star home! He unfortunately suffered a tendon injury a few days ago and his owners wish to retire him from racing. Montoya is one seriously cool thoroughbred, who was very popular with both stable hands and track riders, due to his relaxed nature. He is easy to handle in every way and has no vices. He will make a cracking all rounder for someone who is willing to wait and spell/rehab him. It won't take much work to transition this horse into his new career. He has nice paces and had no soundness issues prior to his injury.We would love to see him go to an experienced caring horsey home, which is what this special horse deserves! His laid back nature and chilled out attitude makes him a very enjoyable and pleasurable ride. Ross has a solid foundation in the basics of dressage. His soft snaffle mouth and even paces proves his capability of becoming quite the show hack. Ross has previously done little bits of jumping in which he really enjoyed, jumping heights of 80cm+. During our care, we have taken him on a few outings in which he handled like a pro, but are yet to compete him. Although Ross is lovely and quiet, he is NOT suitable for any sort of beginner riders, therefore would be the perfect horse for an adult rider who wants to do a little bit of everything.
