17.01.2022 I just sent out a bunch of invites to a lot of friends and some friends that I realise I haven’t spoken to since back when I spelled ‘realise’ with a ‘Z’. Apologies for the no contact. I am ramping up my side business soon. Happy to have a conversation with anyone of how it’s much more than just a tutoring business, although I have a small number of clients now who happen to be school-age, and learning geography from me, but many other courses and services are to be ava...ilable and hopefully someday I can show through this facebook page, the further success of this Self-Improvement company I am currently working on. I am actually returning to real teaching very soon, so the ‘soft launch’ of the company right now, just got a bit softer as I have to prep some more HSC Geography Work for my main job next year for Term 1. Several of my previous tutoring clients (at least 3 I’m aware of) have gone on to study at Sydney Uni. 13.01.2022 Evening 9 April 2020 (Thursday night AEST) MMEC is officially open and taking new clients online. Due to the current pandemic and conditions, MMEC will not be meeting in person until actual doctors like Norman Swan, declare it’s safe to resume normal pre-Covid life outside, shaking hands, the whole lot. All of our instructors are now experienced in online delivery of education having just completed the last 3 weeks of Term 1 at a Macarthur-area school under these condition...s. Email MMEC at [email protected] If you are considering starting or continuing your learning (available to all ages lifelong learners, etc) then there are many short-courses available during the 9 Apr 2020 to 28 Apr 2020 period. For these 2 weeks, a discounted entry flat rate of $25.00 applies to all during this period, with daily lessons and email exchange during that period. After 29 April 2020, MMEC CEO and Director of Studies, Greg, will be starting another teaching job for Year 7 -12 Geography students who would normally physically attend a school in Doonside, near Blacktown, NSW. As much as I look forward to meeting the students in person, I hope they don’t ‘open things up’ too early and instead proceed with caution and sense. I may never meet these students in person, and from this point forward will continue to improve / hone my skills in the online delivery of education. I will have a reduced schedule during the school terms but already have one person ready to assist and join MMEC as a staff member / additional tutor- once this business reaches certain benchmarks to take on additional staff.
