This show gives students a chance to hear and see an instrument they might like to start learning in 2021. In partnership with these schools, Macquarie Conservatorium makes it possible for students to learn a musical instrument at school during school time. Both pianists have multiple degrees and doctorates from prestigious American universities and music schools and have been awarded numerous prizes in international piano competitions. Kristian Winther has performed concertos with major orchestras in Australia, New Zealand and Europe, and has been guest concertmaster of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and ACO Collective. Pianist Brieley Cutting has performed concertos with Melbourne, Adelaide and Queensland Symphony Orchestras, and Nizchny-Novgorod Philharmonic Russia.
