21.01.2022 A beautiful cold Winters morning spent at The Cotter this week. The learning that took.place includes how the river flows and carries items downstream, water droplets create coloured rays when the sun shines through them, handprints on frozen benches look cool and our dam is releasing water after the recent rain. Such a valuable teaching environment and it never fails to relax me #MFDClovesthecotter

19.01.2022 Why are provocations so great? You can present the children with absolutely anything meaningful and watch in amazement as they discover, explore and create. I love days at home with the children roaming between dramatic play and exploration.
19.01.2022 This week is National Family Daycare Week- every child is a star! We celebrated by having a day out at the Deep Space Complex, Tidbinbilla. Cooper had spotted a plane in the sky recently and commented that it looked like a rocket! So we decided to investigate further.... the children were in awe of the Rockets, space suits and planets! They asked if we could create our own outer space at home...of course we can, watch this space
