24.01.2022 Just rebuilt this duct after plumbers had replaced some pipe work.

24.01.2022 Just finished installing this new screen around a bin bay. First I dynabolted all the powder coated steel posts to the inside of the brick, then attached 70mm merbau slats. Lastly I treated the timber with "Cabots new timber prep" to remove the tannin, washed it thoroughly, then applied 2 coats of a natural decking oil.

23.01.2022 Installed a railing for these pine stairs leading to a balcony. Assembled galvanised posts, brackets and pipe, then painted it with a matt black enamel to match the existing gate.

23.01.2022 This unit needed the full treatment following major plumbing works. All that’s left is for the carpet layers to restretch the carpet. Fortunately the unit was vacant, which made the job a whole lot easier.

20.01.2022 It’s only a couple of tiles, should only take a couple of hours the tenant said. Fortunately experience has taught this usually means to book out a few days in my calendar.

19.01.2022 This section of a 10 year old floating floor had significant water damage following a burst pipe. The owner didn’t want the expense or inconvenience of laying a new floor through the whole apartment. Fortunately I able to source a board that was a reasonable match and just replace the entranceway.

12.01.2022 I spent the morning installing this railing. On a day like today with a view like this, I’m surprised I got anything done...

12.01.2022 This block of units had 3 vents in its front garden that weren’t doing much for its street appeal. I clad them in a charcoal composite wood product, as it looks smart but also needs no ongoing maintenance.

11.01.2022 Another ceiling repair. This ceiling had 3 inspection holes cut in it, mould, and the paint was badly pitted. I used vinegar to kill the mould spores, plastered up the holes, scraped back and patched all the pitting, then painted with a mould resistant paint.

07.01.2022 Just finished replacing this double gate.

06.01.2022 Quite often I have to try and match original materials. All the kickboards in this kitchen were damaged when removed for some plumbing work. The owner was keen to keep the original look of the cabinets. Fortunately I was able to source a 19mm compressed board with Tasmanian oak laminate, and then coat them with a maple stain and estapol. The result was a near identical match.

05.01.2022 Still doing what I can, where I can. Just replaced this rotted and buckled retaining wall.

02.01.2022 Recently completed this deck repair. Replaced several joists, installed all new decking boards with stainless steel screws, and replaced the handrails.
