14.01.2022 The 2017 Macquarie University Open Tournament will be held this Saturday. We have 80 entrants competing in 5 events. We will have several elite players demonstrating their skills in the Open singles. The semi finals will start in the middle of the afternoon and everyone is welcome as spectators.

Well done to Trent Carter, Tracy Feng and Michelle Bromley, for all their training and dedication, and we will all be supporting you and Team Australia at the Games :)

09.01.2022 Up next on the Blues Awards is the John Lincoln Services Award. This award recognises outstanding long-term volunteer service to a Sport Club, sport program or ...University sport event by an individual or Sport Club Executive Committee. The nominees are: Yagiz Alp Aksoy Table Tennis Club As club president he was instrumental in reforming the Table Tennis Club in 2014 after it closed in 2004. The club has grown rapidly, and is now one of the largest sport clubs at Macquarie with over 150 members. The club currently has five of Australias top ten players. Owen Logan University Games and Hockey Club Owen Logan has represented Macquarie at six University Games and was University Captain at two Eastern University Games. In 2017 he served as the Mens Hockey Coach at University Games and has been a member of the Macquarie University Hockey Club for five years. Jake Vale University Games Jake Vale has represented Macquarie at seven University Games and was also an integral part of the leadership team at Eastern University Games in 2016 and 2017. Having never missed a training session throughout 2016 and 2017, he has been an incredible asset to team Macquarie.

08.01.2022 Round 2 of the Inter-University Team Challenge is coming up on Saturday 4th August, and will be hosted at our venue. We have several MQU teams entering in the Social event and can still create another for anyone interested.
