16.01.2022 Ladies Wrap Another great weekend for our ladies teams . With all three grades playing on field 1. We started our day with 3rds taking on top of the table Abercrombie . A fantastic team effort made scoring opportunities difficult for Abercrombie, a superhuman effort from our midfield Bek and Brookie kept us in the game, pushing forward at every opportunity, ... the second half saw some great runs from Chelsea and Lauren down the wings with Zara scoring early in the second half Well done everyone . Abercrombie 8 Mufc 1 2nds took on Eglington yellow With a few positional changes from last week we started well pushing the ball around and soon converted our opportunities in front of goal the second half saw more of the same Great game ladies Mufc 8 Eglington 0 Ladies 1st The top of the table clash between MUFC and Abercrombie was the 3pm game on field 1 Abercrombie started well and soon found themselves 1goal up after about 10mins , the Macquarie girls responded well and as the game went on grew in confidence, a fabulous free kick from lily leveled the score. 11.01.2022 F I E L D S C L O S E D Given that BDF is using Police Paddock for Mini Football matches in 2020, due to the venue restrictions placed upon us by the Public... Health Order, BDF is mindful of trying to keep these fields in as good a condition as it possibly can. As a result, given the good rain experienced over the past 24 hours, the committee has decided to completely close Police Paddock for training for all clubs for this week. The lights have been turned off. Clubs will be advised when the fields are open for training again.

11.01.2022 POLICE PADDOCK - TRAINING The training areas of Police Paddock are officially open this week. However Council have asked that Grids 11 through to 18 (old ...field 18 area) remain closed as the area is still very wet. This means that training grids will need to be reduced and shared for this week. The allocation is as follows; TUESDAY : WNSW will use Grids 1 2 and 3, Collegians will use Grids 4, 5 and 6, and 75 will use Grids 7, 8, 9, and 10. WEDNESDAY : PFC will use 1, 2 and 3. Collegians will use 4 and 5, Panda will use 6, Bathurst Athletic will use 7, Macquarie will use 8, 9 and 10. THURSDAY : AFC will use 1, 2 and 3, EDFC will use 4, 5, and 6, Churches will use 7, and 75 will use 8, 9 and 10. We are aware that grid markings are very faint, so please refer to the maps previously issued to get real indication of where you can train, and most of all, please work together and share the limited space. There are no issues if a team wishes to find DRY areas outside grids 1 to 18 to train on.

10.01.2022 FIELDALLOCATIONS

10.01.2022 FIELD ALLOCATIONS & COVID-19 Revised schedule for this weekend, and the following weeks mid-week games. Please check these schedules carefully as there has ...been changes to both Venues and times for quite a few games. The potential loss of playable fields (Specifically Field 4, and maybe Fields 5 and 6) has created the need for considerable changes to accommodate all games for this weekend. With NSW Health updating their recommendations, Bathurst District football have revised our spectator number. For local grassroots association football activities, spectators are limited to 1 one PARENT only, where the child (under 18) requires parental supervision during the sporting activity. Players over 18 years cannot have any spectators 0. Siblings, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Cousins ect are not permitted to attend matches. We understand that the weather forecast for this weekend is not clear skies and sunshine, however please assume all football is ON unless we say otherwise. In the event of road closures preventing travel of a team to a match, BDF will work to reschedule any impacted matches.

09.01.2022 THIS WEEKEND JUNIOR COMPETITIVE Unfortunately the recent rain has caused considerable issues with the fields at Proctor Park and Police Paddock, except fo...r the redeveloped Fields 1, 2 and 3 which are still holding up superbly. Additionally Fields 4, 5 and 6 at Proctor Park have been closed until a further inspection on Sunday morning. This has meant that some Junior Competitive games have had venue and time changes. The revised schedule is below. Please pay careful attention to the location of your games. BDF thanks Scots All Saints College who have offered to take 4 games at Stiles Oval, Scots All Saints (Eglinton Road) Campus. STILES OVAL / BDF RULES The 1 Spectator per Player rule will be strictly enforced. Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your game, ready to play, and leave immediately at the conclusion of the game. Ensure all social distancing and hygiene rules are adhered to. There will be no access to change rooms and or toilets. There is absolutely no parking on Eglinton Road. Please drive into the school grounds and follow the signs and park in the carpark at the front of the school, closest to the ground. Also please note that there is still a chance, depending on how much rain we get over the next 24 hours, that a further decision may be made to cancel all Junior Competitive matches, though at this stage the top fields are behaving exactly as expected draining quickly and well

08.01.2022 F I E L D S C L O S E D With recent rain, the state of our fields at Police paddock and the ongoing requirement for match use, we need to allow some time ...for these areas to repair.
